Li-Ion Rechargeable Battery (originally packaged factory-new merchandise)

The rechargeable battery is protected and secured against overcharge and short-circuits.

Question : What could be wrong with my Samsung digimax 420
I got it in 04, but it's never worked, and I just looked at it again yesterday. It was a $235 camera from Walmart, and they wouldn't even freakin' take it back, but it didn't work when I bought itThe company wouldn't even take it back with original packaging and receipts. I thought that was ridiculous, but whatever.ANYWAY.The screen always reminds black (unless you focus on a light, in which you can see that something's giving off light and a slight outline, but it'll come up in black and white, regardless of color setting), no matter the settings or scenario. The menu and all the icons show up,it just doesn't work. It's awful.Anyone have any ideasResponding to the warrency statement - I DID bring it back to walmart while it was still valid. In fact, I brought it back within 30 days of buying it.They just refused to take it back.

Answer:
Your camera is 3 years old that's problem number1, number 2 the camera's warrant has expired you have to understand, if you had sent it out for repair when the warrant was still valid you would of had a better chance of getting fixed The moral of the story is if you sent it out when it first happen, you would have a working camera instead you have lost $235 dollars. Sorry for the bad newsBob

Question : Has anyone had problems with a Samsung Digimax 420 camera bringing up the message Zoom Error and powering off
I have a Samsung Digimax 420 camera three years old and it brings up the messge Zoom Error on the LCD screen and powers off. I have used new batteries, the AC adapter and no matter what I do it continues to do the same thing. I turn it on, it says Zoom Error and turns off. Please let me know if you have had this problem. The camera was pretty expensive and I don't know whether to send it in or forget about it. Help

Answer:
Call Samsung's tech support and find out if this has been a problem. You can go to Samsung.com to get that information or send them an email. Also make sure that you have your purchase information with you and your receipt. Also go to the photo websites to hear any consumer complaints.
