Cool Camera, lousy warranty
I bought this camera last Christmas, and while on a trip this summer, the camera stopped working while it was in my hands. One minute I was taking pictures, the next minute, a lens error message appeared. I sent it back to Nikon and was told that lens errors problems were not covered under the warranty and that the charge for repair would be more than the original cost of the camera. Period. I have other much more expensive cameras and have sent some of them back for work (Oympus and Canon), and have never had a problem with the warranty. It made me realize that the warranty is as important as the product. If you're thinking of buying this camera, just hope that it never has any problems because if it does, Nikon may not be very reliable about backing up their "cool" cameras with very cool service or support.

Beware of Ritz camera
I bought this camera as a Christmas present for my mother who needed a decent easy to use camera. I never saw any pictures from her and wondered why she wasn't using it. Needless to say, the camera's manual was completely in Spanish! And, one of the USB cables (PC connector) was missing. Anyway, I tried calling the customer service # on the invoice and cannot get through to an operator. I'm now going to the Nikon site to see if I can download the damn manual. I don't recommend ordering from this company at all.

Blurry Action Shots
We've had this camera for one year. We've tried all kinds of settings, but we can't get good action shots. We've been so frustrated at our children's sports events. It seems impossible to focus on one person moving. We're pleased with the other features, but we'll have to look for another camera.

Good while it lasted....
Good camera, takes nice pictures but 7 months old and I get a lens error. After researching the error on line I am seeing so many complaints about it...with no solutions. Can't be fixed!

Great until it breaks!
It is very common for this camera to break with a "lens error." I had it for only two months, and it was not dropped. One day, I went to turn it on and it said "lens error." After researching this error for this camera, it turns out that this happens frequently with this model. It needs to be repaired when this happens. The pictures were great, though, so if you do not pay much for it, and are willing to pay for the repair, the pictures turn out nicely. Great point and shoot...until it breaks!

Take your Cyber-shot W series digital camera to the depths of the ocean with the MPK-WA marine pack from Sony. Designed to be water resistant to a maximum depth of 132 feet, it helps keep your digital camera safe from damage in a variety of elements. The MPK-WA features bright yellow highlights that make it easily visible in murky water. The included hand strap keeps your camera close at hand, even while swimming.

Worked Great in the other side of the world
On my honeymoon this cover worked great and the camera was safe the whole time, even while swimming with sharks and sting rays. The only negative to this is that when coming out of the water sometime pictures will come out blurry because of the water on the front cap. I do recommend getting the color filter for underwater pics. But all in all a great product.

Marine Pack
This case is very nice, especially for the price. Very high quality. It was a perfect fit for my camera - Sony DSC-W1. The only drawbacks are that the flash was slightly less effective, and the mic was (obviously) less effective. I would highly recommend this case.

Effective and fantastic
Works fantastic. Used this in Costa Rica in streams and in the Pacific Ocean. Just amazing. I also use this in rainy conditions and around things like waterfalls.

Excellent product
Fantastic product - it's performed flawlessly on several dives - all camera operations are easily accessed underwater and it takes great pictures above water using this housing as well. I wish I had bought it sooner!
