Question : Sony Cybershot time stamp question
I just got a Sony Cybershot DSC-W50 and I want the date to appear on the pic when I download it to my computer. I have looked through the manuals, fiddled with everything on my camera, and tried searching online and have not had any luck.I looked at this person's question:http://answers.yahoo.com/question/indexqid=20060714122952AAdQyoS and the answers, but they don't work for my camera. My other camera has the time stamp, a kodak easyshare, but the lens is cracked (thanks to the design of the lens cap grrr) so I can't use it anymore.I know I can't add it to the pics I've already taken. I just want to enable the time stamp for future pictures. But I cannot figure out how to do that.
Answer:
Your camera does not have a Date Time Stamp option.Frankly, I think having the date on the photo looks quite ugly...and once it's there it cannot be removed. When you upload your photos to the PC...you usually have to create a folder to put them into...so you could put the date on as part of the folder name.Or usually, when viewing your photos on the PC, you should be able to check the date by right clicking on the photo...and then selecting 'properties'. This will give you information of when the photo was taken etc.Or check the EXIF information...which is embedded into all digital images.

Question : Sony digital camera DSC-W50 Memory Card Question. Easy 10 pts for best answer as soon as time is up
I just bought the Sony DSC-W50 digital camera, and noticed that the memory card it uses does not fit into the slot on the side of my laptop. How the heck do I get the pictures off of it Do I have to buy a usb cable, or is there another way What is the point of the memory card if not to put into your computer to get the pics off Someone solve this for me and I will give you 10 pts ASAP
Answer:
You just need to buy an USB (that usually comes with the camera)or buy and adapter for your memory card for example the slot on your laptop is a SD slot so you can put a SD card but not a Memory stick (which is the one in the camera) so you need to buy and adapter for a memory stick to use it in a SD slot. Good luck
