Question : I have a nikon s220 but when i take some pics it goes out of focus and sometimes come in just a bad quality
can anyone who has this camera or anything tell me on how to fix this problem and what i should have the settings set to for the clearest image

Learn about your camera Read your manual Read it several times, and practice in between.Attend a class, read some books, read/watch online tutorials.The major camera manufacturers (like Canon, Nikon, Olympus etc) all have very useful sections on their website for learning about photography.Understanding at least the basic principles of photography (as well as being familiar with your camera) will enable you to make the most of your gear, and will make a HUGE difference to your images.

Question : how can i fix my lens for my Nikon Coolpix s220
when i put in my battery my lens opens automatically and say lens error... how can i fix it

According to Nikon USA web site, "Lens Error" messageHaving a "Lens error " message display on the camera's LCD display indicates a problem with the camera lens mechanism. This situation generally requires that the camera be sent to a Nikon. It is best not to attempt fixing the problem yourself. evidently there is something wrong with the lens mechanism and you could further damage the camera. It would also probably not be cost effective to have it repaired if the camera is out of warranty.
