Question : Can i use Nikon lens on the Olympus PEN E-P1
Can i use my Nikon lenses on the Olympus PEN E-P1 And what adapter do i have to buy if i have to buy any Thanks zez

Answer:
Yes. The lack of a mirror box in Panasonic's and Olympus' Micro Four Thirds system allows for a shorter flange focal distance than the traditional SLR design. The FFD of the PEN E-P1 is shorter than that of Nikon's€which happens to use one of the longer flange focal distances€so you will be able to use most Nikon F-mount lenses with few exceptions. In fact, the M4/3 FFD is so short that it's the most adaptable digital interchangeable system currently available. All you need is a Nikon to Micro Four Thirds adapter of which there are several to choose from.If you want an "official" adapter, Voigtlander's Nikon F adapter is it: http://www.cameraquest.com/adp_micro_43.htmThere are plenty of other "unofficial" adapters available too that may work just as well:http://shop.ebay.com/i.html_nkw=nikon+to+g1&_sacat=0&_trksid=p3286.m270.l1313&_sop=12&_dmpt=Le ns_Accessories&_odkw=nikon+to+e-p1&_osacat=0These adapters are pretty expensive right now since M4/3 was just recently announced. Prices should drop when more Chinese manufacturers enter the market€something that's bound to happen if M4/3 proves to be a success.I forgot to mention a few important points: - 2x crop factor of the M4/3 standard applies - "G" lens apertures will not be adjustable - Manual focus only - Stop down metering (Aperture Priority) or manual exposure only
