I hook it up to my computer with the cord that came with the camera. It says processing, then it says connection failed

Question : Why am I not able to upload pictures from my Sanyo VPC-T850 to my MAC computer
My new camera: Sanyo VPC-T850 will not let me upload pictures to my MAC computer. When I plug it in & turn the camera on it doesn't show up on my computer like it is suppose to. Is it something wrong with the camera, or the memory card How can I upload load picturesPlease helpThank you

For the most part, the Mac OS recognizes most all cameras. If your camera is not showing up on the desktop then the computer does not recognize it.There are a couple of things that you may do to solve the problem. The first is to check the CD software disk that came with your camera. It may have a program that can be loaded on the Mac so that the computer can download your photos. The second would be to make sure that the camera supports the OS that your using in your Mac. This information usually can be found on the box or in the user guide.The only other thing that I can suggest is that you get a third party USB card reader. This will allow you to remove the memory card from your camera and connect it directly to your Mac.
