Question : Kodak EasyShare CD40 wrong firmware
My CD40 camera has the firmware for CD310 Digital Camera. How can I correct this The automatic update from EasyShare Software simply assumes that this is a CD310 has current firmware that does not need updating.
Answer:
Thanks for the quick answer. I just want to make sure:1. I have the wrong firmware on my camera. I originally had a CD40 camera with the proper CD40 firmware and feel the camera worked better than what I have now: a CD40 camera with wrong CD310 firmware.2. Kodak uses EasyShare software to update the firmware, but it only sees that the CD310 firmware is up to date. I can not tell it to go get the CD40 firmware and install it.I need to replace the CD310 firmware that is incorrectly on the camera with the proper CD40 firmware. Can picasa help me do thatThanks.

Question : How can I upload videos............
Ok, I have a Kodak Easyshare CD40. It's a fine camera for me b/c I mainly use film. I just got the digital for quick little pics. Recently I've been recording things my cat does with it. I have the usb port which connects it to the comp, but the easyshare software doesn't allow the upload of videos. Do I just go to some place like youtube.com, or do I need some software to upload the videos Thanks for any help.It doesn't say anything. Just when the screen pops up with all the pics, the videos just show a "red x" well, with the updated software it's a broken line, but same concept. And I've had quicktime before, it didn't work then either.
Answer:
the videos load with the picturesbut you need quick time player to view them
