Question : how can i tell if my sony magic gate 2gb memory stick is fake or not.
i am asking because i got one off ebay but after a few days in the camera the camera was asking me to reinsert memory stick.is there a definate way to tell if it's real or not i would rather pay full whack for one that's real.

There is not many ways to tell from the casing as the reproduction is so flawless, you could check for a sticker of authenticity, but some fakers can copy this aswell, i believe a program exists for the PSP (playstation portable) which finds out if memory stick DUO/PRO DUO's are real.Thanks

Question : Problems with Memory Stick Pro Duo
It worked fine on both my camera & computer ever since I got it about a month ago, but now whenever I put the card into my card reader it says 'The request could not be preformed because of an I/O device error'& when I put the card in my Sony Cybershot DSC-S950 it says 'Reinsert the Memory Stick', I reinserted it but it just keeps saying the same thing Like I said it has worked fine every other time I've used it, so why is it acting up now Please help I really need the pictures on this card
