Great

This camera is small enough to carry everywhere and it gets better! It takes pictures quickly with high resolution. The lens is inside the camera so you won't have to worry whether you will break the lens if you drop it ( i dropped my Nikon camera on accident and immediately broke the lens). It is really a fun camera to have as well an simple. The buttons are sealed so that any dirt or water wont go through and ruin the camera or the button. I would recommend this camera to anyone that is looking for a cute portable camera that takes great shots.

Low quality pictures

I bought this camera for my daughter, she loved the color and that it had a rechagable battery. There was also some cool things you can do with the photos. However the picture quality was horrible. The pictues were too bright. No matter how much tweeking I did, the pictures came out the same. It looked like the camera focus a clear shot right before the camera snaped, but the pictures still came out too bright. To think this is suppose to be a 10 mega pixle camera. No exaggeration, my phone camera actually took better pictures than this camera.

Great portable and inexpensive camera!

This camera is great for most occasions. It is definitely not the best in terms of picture quality, but then again, if you want to get more, you have to spend a lot more. For the money, this is a great every-day-use camera.

Pros:
+ Light weight
+ Inexpensive
+ Good looking
+ 3x zoom without a protruding lense

Cons:
- Not the best image quality, but still good for most occasions
- Auto ISO only, but an every day user would not touch those adjustments anyways

Great Form Factor, poor camera

I bought this camera for my wife for Christmas. She wanted a really small, light pocketable camera. Fuji designed a great small chic form factor, but apparently forgot that taking decent pictures was important to people who buy cameras. There were two main issues with this camera--shutter lag and blur.

The shutter lag was horrible, especially with the flash turned on. I know there is a red-eye reduction feature, but no way that I could figure out to turn it off. It was impossible to capture the image you wanted because it would take a picture a second after you push the button.

Almost every picture we took indoors was blurry. If the subject was not standing perfectly still through the horribly long lag, they would be blurry. There was a blur warning on the screen, but the manual did not give any way to correct it.

In short if you are looking for a small light camera, look somewhere else. I took this back and got her a Canon SD 780 IS Digital Elph, and she is much happier with it. It is just as small and can actually be used to take decent pictures in a wide variety of situations.

Exactly what I paid for, maybe more!

I bought this camera last night. I was in need of one after breaking my third Sony T-series in a row. I just wanted something that could take pictures of decent quality and could record video. I bought it at a military store so it came with a bundle including a memory card, reader and a soft case.

PROs

There's two main things that this camera surprised me on:

- The specs it has for such a small amount ($$$) is surprising. I'm used to paying greater amounts for less with Sony. I'm a big Sony fan. Or was...
- I'm not big on portability as a main sell point, I'll sacrifice space if it pays off with quality and with results. However, this tiny camera fits in the palm of my hand and weighs a very small amount. And was definitely a great addition to the already surprising specifications.

CONs

- Much like the other review that offered a 1 star I too had a problem with the shutter speed and flash delay. Something that is a small inconvenience and/or can be fixed if you go through the options of the camera instead of giving up on it. I changed the settings and it's good now. And by doing so I now know the inner menus of the camera a whole lot better.
- The battery sliding lid seems to be a little too loose for my taste. However, it might be my specific camera and not the model. Just a small incovenience.

OVERALL
Great camera that packs a punch for what you pay. As long as you work on it and try to make it work it will. Good buy!

Great for my kids - quality and lots of fun features

My kids got this for christmas -9 and 11 yrs old and love it. It has music to go with the pics and slideshow. Of course they didn't need to read the directions, they just "got it." I was very impressed. My daughters camera seems to be once in a while not want to go on so she has to close the lens for awhile again or push the battery in. I don't know if it's her or the camera yet. But it has been a great gift compared to junk that will get thrown out anyway. And now I get to be in the pictures!

Fabulous Investment for the Money (and the Look)

I bought this camera because once I saw the look of it, I had to own it. It's so pretty - and it's just as cool in person. As far as features, you definitely need to get an SD Card to go with this since it can only hold about 28 pictures without one (which let's face it, you have to buy SD cards for almost all cameras nowadays). The menu is a bit basic and the slide feature is a bit old-fashioned in appearance, but it really does get the job done. It's super lightweight, thin and small, so it's something you don't mind carrying with you everywhere you go. And the pictures come out fabulously. I do recommend this to anyone looking for a simple, easy-to-use camera.

I PURCHASED THIS CAMERA AS A GIFT FOR MY WIFE. SHE LIKES IT, BUT I LOVE IT!!! I USE IT MORE THAN SHE DOES. IT TAKES SUPER PICTURES, BUT THE VIDEOS ARE A LITTLE SHAKEY. THAT'S OKAY, CAUSE I BOUGHT IT AS A STILL CAMERA, NOT A VIDEO!! LOTS MORE FEATURES THAN I FIGURED IT WOULD HAVE FOR THE PRICE. CANT BE BEAT!!!
