I have had many digital cameras and I have to say this is among one of the best yet a 1/3 of the price of the ones with the same features. This was actually the second one I bought because I left the first one on the bumper of my SUV and you can use your imagination to figure out what happened. I do have to say that I was impressed that it held up like it did after being run over several times.... I can assure you that you will not be disappointed with this vibrant red little gadget!

Great Price, Not the Greatest Camera

I purchased this camera on black friday, as WM black friday is the only place to have purchased this brand new. Over all, it's a good camera, but there's definately some not so good things as well.

Upsides:
-10.2MP is a super high resolution and that makes this camera worth the black friday price

-lots of in camera features such as

*slideshows with music
*trim and save the new picture without losing the old
*save screenshots from video all in the convenience of the camera

-video is great resolution as well

Downsides:
-Auto settings aren't great; I leave it on P(program), and leave it on my own settings(on Auto, the exposure isn't that great)

-uses AA batteries which don't last unless you purchase rechargables

-no viewfinder(therefore you have to use the LCD at all times(which consumes more battery power)

-No way to watch on a TV; you can only upload to a computer via SD card or supplied USB cable

-The flash has to charge, so after you take a picture with a flash, you have to wait until it charges in order to take another with flash(I don't get why this is, my old camera just flashed without having to charge)

-the outside shell is all plastic(feels really cheap)--dont drop it


is it worth the price? well, at the wal mart black friday price i bought it at, i say it's worth the price. but don't pay anymore for it. Instead, just invest on a camera(maybe one that u can watch on a tv, or has a lithium rechargable)

Personally, brand wise, I have found the "Made In Japan" Canon Cameras to be the BEST cameras EVER! Though, now everything is becomming "made in china" because people are falling for low prices instead of high quality. when will we learn?
