Could not be happier with quality and fit for wife's Canon EOS

Had done some extensive searching for the best quality hood for my wives EOS at the right price,was glad that my searching paid off after finding this particular listing. Hood was a precise fit (58mm lens) and she really was happy with the flower shape design type as well.

I that is was made by Canon for the EF-S 18-55mm but it was a 3rd party hood ^^

Very disappointing

This hood is not as advertised...doesn't fit Canon EF-S 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 IS Pro Digital kit lens as supplied with new Canon Rebel 2ti camera...Beware!!

spend maybe a bit more for a better hood

Two things that I didn't like:
-no fast locking feature, you have to screw in and out the hood every time, not like the hood that came with my Sigma 10-22 (just half a turn and its on or off)
-it covers part of the picture with the 18-55 lenses when fully zoomed out, this is rather annoying. It has no problems though with my other Canon 55-250 lenses
