Question : How do you transfer pictures or videos to your comp from a digital camera? Casio Ex-Z300 Exilim?
I have a Casio EX-Z300 EXILIM and i'm having a hard, REALLY hard time to transfer the pictures and videos to my computer. With other cameras i usually drag the picture files from the "DCIM" folder on a camera but when i do the same thing with this camera, it WONT transfer. Any ideas, plz help me.
Answer:
Do you have the camera connected to the computer? or are you using a card reader? You should be able to drag the files from the DCIM folder, but if not, you may need to copy and paste them, or use the software provided with the camera. If you are using a card reader, again, you should be able to drag the files, but try hitting copy and paste instead. When you try dragging the files, do you get an error message? Or can you not get to this stage of the process?Sorry I can't help more without more info.

Question : How to change pixel on Casio digital camera?
Not sure if I'm using the right term but I was told that if I adjust the size of the pictures taken on my digital camera to smaller I will be able to take more pictures using the same amount of memory? I have a Casio Exilim digital camera and was wondering if anyone knows how to adjust this? Thanks!
Answer:
If you go into the menu you will see something that says quality. You can change the size and quality here. It is really not a good idea though. You can always make a picture smaller but you can't make it bigger. If you get a picture that you would like to blow up you will be out of luck. Memory cards are cheap. Just buy a larger one.

Question : Where on the internet can I download the installment stuff for my casio digital camera?
It's a Casio Exilim 6.0 megapixel or this bad boy :p (http://www.digitalcamerareview.com/assets/6482.jpg). I've had it for a couple years and out of nowhere it won't let me download pictures off of it. It says it "doesn't recognize" it. I was thinking maybe I needed to re-install it. But I lost the disk.

Question : Why is my Casio digital camera EX-Z600 giving me a lens error?
We're on vacation and my Casio digital camera EX-Z600 is acting up. It's battery has plenty of juice and will turn on ok and take pictures, however, if I try any type of zoom it will retract the lens and shut itself off or give a lens error message. Any suggestions?
Answer:
There's sand or grit in the lens.As it tries to zoom the camera senses the power drain as the mechanism jams and shuts down to prevent damage.Try holding the camera lens down and open, then tapping the base of the camera in the palm of the hand...don't hit the lens. The idea is to knock the bit out of the camera, or at least out of the mechanism.

Question : can i take recovery of my deleted pictures from my casio SD memory digital camera?
I have casio digital camera. pls help me there have my marriage pictures!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Answer:
I have had success with this... Download the program http://search.yahoo.com/search?vc=&p=asoftech+photo+recoveryYou must not take anymore pictures on your card. You have to use a card reader either on your computer or an external USB card reader. Put the card in the card reader, open the asoftech program, then select the drive where files are deleted, then press “Start” and wait for it to do it’s magic. You need to use a card reader either one already in your computer (some have one, some don't). Or buy an external USB card reader. They are around $2 on Amazon.

Question : What is the best way to buy a casio digital camera?
I have seen ones that don't use flash and the pics look great. Can you suggest a model ,etc.
Answer:
I would recommend Canon PowerShot SD990IS (a good 14.2 mpx camera, just 350$, read the review: http://shortcamerareviews.com/canon-powershot-sd990is-digital-camera-review/).Or if you're looking for something cheaper, check the A1000IS, just 150$ (read the review: http://shortcamerareviews.com/canon-powershot-a1000is-digital-camera-review/)

Question : casio digital camera i think i deleted all photos can they be retrieved and where can I go to get it done?
I am not sure how i deleted them message comes up there are no files
Answer:
If you are using a memory card, take no more pics until you've recovered the photos, take the card out of the camera. This is to reduce the chance of you overwriting some of your "lost" photos. There are many good freeware photo recovery software options that are available to help you recover your photos. This blog article reviews and outlines several of the better ones. http://camerarepair.blogspot.com/2007/12/recovering-those-accidentally-lost.html
