Very good product. Extremely easy to handle. Good quality pictures. The only con is that video needs a lot of light to work properly at night.

Casio Exilim EX-Z100 10.1 Mp Digital Camera
This is the second Casio Exlim I have purchased. The first one was purchased for a tour in the Middle East and was used to take over 2,000 pictures and tons of video clips. Such great memories and documentation. Fit purfectly in the leg pocket of the military fatiques. Always ready for a fast picture and great quality. Ended up droping the cameria and the lense was stuck so I ordered a new replacement. Took a board and hit the lens and it turned out to work purfect. I use the old one for fishing trips on the White River in Arkansas. The new one I like a lot better than the previous mosel. Seperate button for video clips and has more toys which makes capturing great photos so much easier.
Buy a third one some day - ijn a minute. Great cameria and investment.

Great Camera
I bought this camera 3 years ago when it first came out. I have taken it everywhere. Its size is perfect to fit in a small bag or most mens pants pockets. Took it to Italy for a month and about 3000 pictures and just about every picture came out perfect. The only thing that doesn't work well is the night shots option. City night scapes or dim lit areas almost always come out blurry. Other then that, three years later, this camera is still taking perfect shots. Every time we look at pictures everyone always comments on the quality of them and how we must have a great expensive camera. For this price, you cant get much better.

Cheaply made, long delay, horrible pictures
I've had a Panasonic and another Casio before this one so this is not my first compact wide angle camera. First the body is very poorly made. It has a gap between the front and back of the camera. You can actually see inside the camera! Cosmetic aside the camera just take bad pictures. Almost all my pictures came out blurry and there is a even long delay before the preview is shown. I even uploaded to my computer to see if it's any better. It's not. My 5 years old Panasonic camera takes much better pictures. The only thing good about this camera is the screen size. At this pricing point there are much better cameras out there.

Good picture quality, poor resiliency
The picture quality from this camera is great, mainly due to the fact that there is a preset mode for just about any occasion that you could think of. After owning the camera for a week, I took it on a week-long vacation to Death Valley. I think that the sand may have been too much for it and the lens mechanism had to be replaced. That being said, Casio was very friendly and helpful on the phone. I had to pay shipping to send the camera to their repair center, they fixed it and paid the shipping to send it back to me. All-in-all, it took about a week.
I would highly recommend this camera for anyone looking for a good quality point and shoot; the only caveat to that being that it may not be the right camera for you if you're the adventurous outdoorsy type.

Good Camera
I did a lot of research before purchasing this camera. This is my 3rd point and shoot, and ultimately it is my second Casio. I thought the first time I bought one I was going to get hosed on camera capability but was looking forward to finding out how to conducting complex mathematical equations. I was actually very pleased with my first one, and ultimately ended up going with the Casio Z250 to replace it. It is very easy to use, and takes excellent pictures. The size is perfect and the extra large lcd is awesome. The best part of the camera is the "Best Images" features, which quickly adjusts your camera settings to take certain types of pictures (ie water, dog, action, poloroid, scenic, night, etc.) It has many of the same features that more expensive cameras have for a lower price. I would recommend this camera over all others currently on the market in its price range.

User friendly
I bought this camera for my parents, and they were very satisfied. It was delivered in time, and there were no problems. The large screen on the camera and the best shot function makes it very easy to use, even if you're new to the technology.

Fast Shipping! Amazing Company!
This company is great to work with! I have bought 2 cameras from them. Both items were shipped very fast. The first camera had a faulty battery so the company sent me a new one free of charge. The 2nd camera's auto focus was broken so I emailed them about it. It was about 2 months after I ordered it becuase I had just started using it. The company had me ship the camera back and offered to fix it free of charge. I will definltely order from this company in the future. Their customer service is amazing!

Awesome Camera!
Before I received my camera I had doubts that it would be as good as it looked, but when I received it and used it I was overwhelmed with happiness! It takes clear pictures and they look so fresh! It may be a refurbished camera but I forget at times that it is because it acts just like a brand new camera! Thanks Amazon!

Good buy!
I have had this camera for about a year now. I just LOVE it! I looked at a lot of cameras and features and ended up purchasing this camera. It takes quick clear pictures. The main thing I was looking for was the ability to take picture after picture very quickly. This works perfect for that. The flash is good, zoom is adequite, and it is easy to operate. It charges fast and the battery is great, so much better than big heavy bulky batteries. Also great for traveling it is small and very light weight. Everytime I hand it to someone to take a picture they say "I like this camera it is nice and small" Takes good quality pics! Can't go wrong

The perfect handy camera
My husband actually bought this little camera for himself because I am always complaining to him that I am never in any of our family pictures. I have a big, fancy SLR camera that takes great pictures, but is so bulky and difficult to cart around to certain events. Also, I have a high definition cam corder that also creates great high quality video, but the files are so huge and difficult to upload to the web to share with family.
This little camera is perfect for anyone wanting to take casual pictures and videos on the go. I use it everyday to capture random moments in my family's life. I upload pictures directly to my blog almost everyday, and I am also able to easily upload videos to YouTube. This is the perfect camera for me, especially with two little kids growing up so fast. I captured my daughter's first steps recently and immediately uploaded the video to my blog and YouTube so that family in different parts of the country could share in the moment.

Will ALWAYS buy CASIO
I love this camera! I needed a camera for personal use to take pictures when I go and trips, etc. I could not have chosen a better camera. I went to NYC for the first time (I'm from GA) a few weeks ago. The pictures turned out amazing! Great for the person who doesn't want to worry with whether the light is right or if a moving car will mess up the shot! Just point and shoot and a perfect picture every time! No complaints! Everyone always comments on how great my pictures turn out and many want me to take their pictures with my camera!!

Perfect Point & Shoot Camera
I have 3 kids, so a good battery life and a small camera I can keep in my back pocket are MUST HAVES. Well this camera does not disappoint. I can go DAYS with this camera in my purse, use it several times a day, without having to charge it, it's amazing. It's SO slim I forget it's in my pocket. It comes in gorgeous colors, I have the blue and people are constantly saying how nice it is. The menu system is pretty straight forward and the pictures have all come out wonderful. The one touch button video recording is so simple and videos are great quality for a digital camera. I HIGHLY recommend this camera, you will love it.

Form factor, awesome. Photo quality, just alright.
First the good stuff - this camera is the slimmest one I've ever owned. It's thinner than my phone when I throw it in my pocket, which makes it easy to take with you wherever you go.
Now the minuses - picture quality is good, not great. Compared to my Canon camera, which was only 3 megapixels, picture quality and lens on this thing is not as sharp. The photos look fine, but they are noticeably not as crisp. Also for some reason, I can't figure out how to take a timed photo with this. It has some neat auto-photo capabilities (like, it takes a photo only when subjects smile), but where's the regular old timer, Casio?

great pictures but very fragile
I actually had two of these cameras. both produced absolutely amazing images, I give them a lot of credit there-- very sharp, the colors were perfect, and in general, i didn't have to edit anything. The battery life was also amazing (especially compared to my old camera which lasted a few hours at most). My main issue with these is the fragility..
NOTE: I am slightly OCD and very cautious.. my previous camera (and now current one- an old Pentax Optio) has lasted over 5 years with minor scratches and no real issues. These I kept in their cases, always with the band tight around my wrist.
1. the first camera dropped about 3-5 inches into a grass, slighty damp ground, and the LCD completely cracked, rendering it useless
2. the second camera got a grain of sand in the zoom/lens motor while I was at the beach, and was too costly to repair (almost the same as buying a new one)
the LCD screen is slightly elevated off the back of the camera, so it is easy to damage. The lens motor is very delicate (according to a few camera repair people).
Lastly, my sister has an older Exilim model, which was also great (not as good as this one, but still had great image quality)-- her camera's lens failed just after the warranty period (1 yr), one minute it was working, the next minute everything was blurry. SO! I have become pretty suspicious of Casio Exilims, and I think with good reason.

| Editorial Review :
So the idea is to take great pictures without any fuss. That's the philosophy behind the Casio Exilim EX-Z85 digital-camera. This 9.1 effective megapixel camera features a stylish design but, beyond style, is packed with the kind of innovative features you expect from Casio. For example, most pictures include images of family and friends. You want those to appear best. The Casio Exilim Z85 comes with a Face Recognition function that can detect the presence of up to 10 people's faces and then give priority to the faces of pre-registered people for correct focus and exposure, and an Auto Shutter function, which automatically takes a photo the instant camera shake ceases, as well as a Movie button that lets users easily record widescreen movies. In addition to the usual rectangular focus frame that is indicated on the LCD monitor, users can choose from frame designs featuring a heart shape or a butterfly, for example. When the scene is properly focused, a clear heart shape is displayed, and when the scene is out of focus the heart shape breaks up. This makes it easy to see when the picture is in focus. To help keep things even sharper, the Casio EX-Z85 adds blur detection technology. The Casio EX-Z85 can automatically take a photo the instant that hand shake or subject movement stops, even without the need to push the shutter button. This reduces photo blur caused by the movement involved in pressing the shutter. The camera will also automatically release the shutter at the moment of a smile or the moment subject blur ceases in a panning shot. A shot can also be taken the moment the user's face fills the frame when taking a self-portrait. A 3x Zoom lens covers landscape, normal, and telephoto perspectives. The EX-Z85 accepts SD and SDHC memory cards for ample image storage. It can shoot stills and movies. It shoots movies in widescreen too! Built for simple use, this camera is just what you need to get resu

Pretty Good
I have this same camera in Orange, I have not had any problems with the camera as the other person on this review stated. The picture quality is pretty good, especially on easy mode, which makes it easy for us non photographers to take pretty decent pictures. I have been playing around more with the camera and am still finding features because it is against my religion to read the manual. I like it and its easy to carry around i would recommend this camera to anyone, except a professional photographer or those who aspire to be a professional but for random memory capturing, this camera works well for me and has for a while.

Poor Quality - No support from Casio
Purchased this camera from Casio in July, 2009 for my daughter's Birthday. She used the camera a few times and seemed to like it. But in September the camera malfunctioned. When attempting to turn it on the lens would freeze and the screen would not turn on. I returned it to the Casio factory and they said the cost of repair would be $93.94.They claim the camera was dropped which is just not the case.I am very disappointed Casio would not stand behind this product.

Questions & Answers
Question : Does anyone know where I can find a new usb cable for my Casio Exilim EXZ75 digital camera?
I recently lost the usb cable for my Casio Exilim EXZ75 digital camera. Someone told me to get a card reader. Does a card reader work the same way? Which is better an usb cable or card reader?
Answer:
The USB cable applicable to your camera is proprietary. You can search the internet to find it, but contacting Casio is the easiest. Expect to pay $40+ for a new cable.Even better, just grab a card reader. It does almost everything. In terms of transferring photos, it works better (they're faster). If you want the advanced software upgrade features, or want to download images from the internal memory then you will need the cable. Note that software updates are not recommended to be taken on my novices and internal memory images can be copied to a memory card in the camera.Where to find a card reader? Well your computer might already have it. HP/Compaq has had them for a while on many models. If your computer has it, it will be on the front of your computer and one will be markes SD.If your computer doesn't have it, buy one. They start at around $15 at local stores and can be as low as $2 on http://dealextreme.com (expect to wait 4-6weeks for shipping and questionable quality). You want an SD card reader, but a multi-reader can't hurt. It'll plug into any USB port.

Question : I have a trouble shooting question on the Casio Exilim Digital Camera about focus?
I've got a problem on Casio Exilim Digital Camera. My camera suddenly can not use any focus system. It looks everything a bit out of focus and even it's out of focus when I use the Manual focus too. I guess the main problem is focus system or might be the setting. Is there any way I can solve that problem? Thanks
Answer:
you most likely dropped it. if you did and the lens doesnt move, not even retract when u turn it off, then its broken..buy a new one

Question : How to change pixel on Casio digital camera?
Not sure if I'm using the right term but I was told that if I adjust the size of the pictures taken on my digital camera to smaller I will be able to take more pictures using the same amount of memory? I have a Casio Exilim digital camera and was wondering if anyone knows how to adjust this? Thanks!
Answer:
If you go into the menu you will see something that says quality. You can change the size and quality here. It is really not a good idea though. You can always make a picture smaller but you can't make it bigger. If you get a picture that you would like to blow up you will be out of luck. Memory cards are cheap. Just buy a larger one.

Question : I have a Casio digital camera and I don't know how to save videos onto my computer from the library. Help?
Basically I click upload and then it sends me straight to the library. When i try to save videos they don't do anything when I click in the file I saved them to. My friend has a Casio and says something else pops up that you can save things from, but nothing else pops up with my library. What should I do? The Casio camera help section doesn't contain anything about videos.
Answer:
The easiest way is to buy a multi CARD READER. Then connect the card reader to your USB port, wait until the driver is automatically installed, then get your memory stick from your Casio camera and insert it to the appropriate place in the card reader. When it is done, you can browse from Explorer and copy paste your files. Good Luck
