First of all, do not save any new file to camer's memory card.Take out memory card, and connect it to computer using a card reader. You should see memory card shown as a drive letter (like H:) in Windows Explorer.Download recover software asoftech photo recovery. I've got a problem on Casio Exilim Digital Camera. My camera suddenly can not use any focus system. It looks everything a bit out of focus and even it's out of focus when I use the Manual focus too. I guess the main problem is focus system or might be the setting. Is there any way I can solve that problem? Thanks

you most likely dropped it. if you did and the lens doesnt move, not even retract when u turn it off, then its broken..buy a new one

I just purchased a casio digital camera model Exlim 850. When I tried to down load the soft ware regarding the USB, I got a message of "the operating system is not adequate for running USB Casio digital camera Devise Driver B." I am running XP second edition. Any suggestions. Also, how to I download the pictures to my computer.

Question : How do you transfer pictures or videos to your comp from a digital camera? Casio Ex-Z300 Exilim?
I have a Casio EX-Z300 EXILIM and i'm having a hard, REALLY hard time to transfer the pictures and videos to my computer. With other cameras i usually drag the picture files from the "DCIM" folder on a camera but when i do the same thing with this camera, it WONT transfer. Any ideas, plz help me.

Do you have the camera connected to the computer? or are you using a card reader?You should be able to drag the files from the DCIM folder, but if not, you may need to copy and paste them, or use the software provided with the camera.If you are using a card reader, again, you should be able to drag the files, but try hitting copy and paste instead. When you try dragging the files, do you get an error message? Or can you not get to this stage of the process?Sorry I can't help more without more info.

Help!! I'm currently backpacking on the east coast of Queensland and my camera (Casio Exilim digital) has packed in!!! The lens cover appears to have jammed and I'm missing so many wonderful photo opportunities. Does anyone know where - maybe in Brisbane - I could get it fixed on the spot or at least within a couple of days as I don't have a forwarding address to leave it for any length of time & have it sent on to me. Question : I have a Casio digital camera and I don't know how to save videos onto my computer from the library. Help?
Basically I click upload and then it sends me straight to the library. When i try to save videos they don't do anything when I click in the file I saved them to. My friend has a Casio and says something else pops up that you can save things from, but nothing else pops up with my library. What should I do? The Casio camera help section doesn't contain anything about videos.
Answer:
The easiest way is to buy a multi CARD READER. Then connect the card reader to your USB port, wait until the driver is automatically installed, then get your memory stick from your Casio camera and insert it to the appropriate place in the card reader. When it is done, you can browse from Explorer and copy paste your files. Good Luck
