Good Camera, High $$$
This camera works great, no complaints, but it was an emotional purchase, not a practical one. Prices went way down for this model after I purchased it. Love the color.

The camera arrived quickly, and exactly as described. A new camera would have been 3X the price.

Digital Camera
I love this camera. This is my third, becasue they have either been stolen or broken. Don't drop it because it is very fragile ( I work with kids, so they are always getting their hands on it). But the pic quality is great. I love it!

Is not a point & shoot -- pictures are consistently poor quality
I have not had any mechanical problems with this camera (and even downloading the new firmware to accommodate SDHC was issue-free), but I'm realizing I should've moved on a long time ago. Not only are different picture settings difficult and time consuming to adjust (almost completely through navigating numerous menus on-screen), they don't even help with the outcome. Low-light settings produce completely blurry or dark pictures, and indoor flash makes most pictures over-exposed. Image stabilization is a joke, and given the negligible weight of this camera, the pictures really need a good one, unfortunately. The Best Shot scene selections also do not help produce a clear photo, or one with accurate overall color. I'm not a camera expert but am skilled enough to play around with the settings and experiment, but still have not found any settings to be helpful, so I am really concluding that this camera is just of poor quality. I would say, in general, avoid this line and probably Casio in general. I just see other brands performing much better.

Lens mechanism is fragile, but quick startup and great pictures
I have owned this camera for several years now and I decided to write a review after the camera finally died.
Within the first week, I experienced the lens error/gear grinding that many other reviewers have written about. I sent the camera back for service and it was taken care of under warranty, but it was a little inconvenient to be without my brand new camera for a while.
The second camera worked great for a while, but eventually it tried to turn on in a pocket and I had the lens/gear grinding issue again. After turning it on and off a few times, the camera seemed to sort itself out. I bought a small case for it, mainly to keep it from turning on when not in use and damaging the extending lens. One day I thinking about what a poor design it was and decided to poke around the menus. I found the option that allows you to 'deactivate' the power on button on the back that accidentally gets pushed and causes everyone problems! It allows you to designate the tiny, recessed power button on the top as the only way to turn it on. This button has never been accidentally pressed and I had no issues with the camera after that adjustment. It would have been nice to come with that as the default setting from the factory. It sounds like it would have saved many people from breaking their lenses.
I have always been very satisfied with the quality of the photos and virtually any dificult lighting situation has been overcome with some minor adjustments on the menu or the simple use of the flash. This camera's tiny size has made it the perfect party companion and I have countless pictures from bars and clubs that would not have been taken if I had to carry a bulkier camera around. The convenience and tiny size alone has made this camera worth every penny. It starts up quickly and is ready to take a picture as soon as you are. The focus doesn't hunt around and the time between shots is short enough that I don't notice it.
Sadly, my girlfriend dropped the camera on the floor in Vegas and I got the lens error message again. It won't focus now and makes funny clicking noises. I don't abuse my things, but I didn't treat this camera as carefully as an egg either. I'm not sure how its durability measures up against other cameras, but I'm disappointed with the durability of the extending lens mechanism. This camera has been with me during many wonderful memories and I would buy another one if Casio resolved the lens issue.

MD) CL) CASIO EX-Z120 DIGITAL CAMERA
Customer Review :
A very good deal
My previous camera was a Pentax S30. It fell from 3 feet (while in its case) and stopped functioning! I bought this Casio because it has a viewfinder (a very useful, disappearing feature), had good reviews, uses ordinary batteries, is relatively good looking and was quite a good deal. Pictures quality and response speed are good (the Pentax is quite slow). Cons: Memory card compartment is poorly designed (difficult to remove the card) and the covers for both the card and the USB are flimsy and ugly. Also, there is plenty of unused space at the back so why not bigger display?? Bottom line: A very good camera.

Great Camera for a great price!
I recently went on a trip to Paris for a week. Months beforehand, I knew I had to get a digital camera that would do justice to that city. This is it. Its 7.2 mega pixels provide a clarity unheard of in most digital cameras. Its easy to use, but also able to adjust to the whims of a professional, with such functions as shutter speed, light adjustment, color variance, night shots, aperture and anti shake. For my money and situation, this is certainly the best camera to buy.

I really like this EX-Z120
I'm not a photographer.I wanted a good quality small camera to carry in my pocket that took better photos then my cell phone.Sorry for not getting Techie but my purpose here is to say that I like it,it works fine,it's flat in my pocket, and the price was very, very good on Amazon.

Only complaint:
The only complaint i have about this camera is the difficulty of removing the SD Memory Card. When in the ejected position, it gives you about 1/8 of an inch to grab, which is further restricted by the memory card door. I usually need a pair of tweezers to pull it out.
Other than that, it is extremely reliable, easy-to-use, and works efficiently

Well worth buying to capture those precious moments!!
This camera is nice, clean and modern looking. I've had this camera for over a year now and I love it. As a matter of fact, I own a refurbished one and have not been disappointed. I have been using a 128 MB SD memory card used from my previous owned camera and have been able to store a good amount of pictures (after lowering the mega pixels) and with excellent quality at that. But if you plan to use the video recording option, you definitely want to purchase a 1+GB memory card and rechargeable batteries. It uses a lot of battery power when in video mode. Thats pretty much the only flaw which is not a big deal, just carry extra batteries. I recommend you familiarize yourself with all its features so that you do not overwhelm yourself. By doing this, you'll be taking pictures like a pro in no time. There have been so many new cameras coming out, but I highly recommend this camera!! ;)

User friendly
I bought this camera for my parents, and they were very satisfied. It was delivered in time, and there were no problems. The large screen on the camera and the best shot function makes it very easy to use, even if you're new to the technology.
Rating :
Cheaply made, long delay, horrible pictures
I've had a Panasonic and another Casio before this one so this is not my first compact wide angle camera. First the body is very poorly made. It has a gap between the front and back of the camera. You can actually see inside the camera! Cosmetic aside the camera just take bad pictures. Almost all my pictures came out blurry and there is a even long delay before the preview is shown. I even uploaded to my computer to see if it's any better. It's not. My 5 years old Panasonic camera takes much better pictures. The only thing good about this camera is the screen size. At this pricing point there are much better cameras out there.
Rating :
Good picture quality, poor resiliency
The picture quality from this camera is great, mainly due to the fact that there is a preset mode for just about any occasion that you could think of. After owning the camera for a week, I took it on a week-long vacation to Death Valley. I think that the sand may have been too much for it and the lens mechanism had to be replaced. That being said, Casio was very friendly and helpful on the phone. I had to pay shipping to send the camera to their repair center, they fixed it and paid the shipping to send it back to me. All-in-all, it took about a week.
I would highly recommend this camera for anyone looking for a good quality point and shoot; the only caveat to that being that it may not be the right camera for you if you're the adventurous outdoorsy type.

Good Camera
I did a lot of research before purchasing this camera. This is my 3rd point and shoot, and ultimately it is my second Casio. I thought the first time I bought one I was going to get hosed on camera capability but was looking forward to finding out how to conducting complex mathematical equations. I was actually very pleased with my first one, and ultimately ended up going with the Casio Z250 to replace it. It is very easy to use, and takes excellent pictures. The size is perfect and the extra large lcd is awesome. The best part of the camera is the "Best Images" features, which quickly adjusts your camera settings to take certain types of pictures (ie water, dog, action, poloroid, scenic, night, etc.) It has many of the same features that more expensive cameras have for a lower price. I would recommend this camera over all others currently on the market in its price range.

Great Camera!
I have had this camera now for 3 years. Have never had any issues with it. The images are great and its easy to use and carry. Movies are easy to create as well with good audio range. My wife loves this camera and constantly takes pictures of the kids daily with it. The zoom could be better but for a small compact camera its about as good as it gets.

Ok pictures, bad video, not for travelers
I'll make it quick: Pros: Slick, good looking camera, easy to carry, durable, love the LCD, battery life is ok.
Cons: here we go... -Charger is a huge cradle that is a pain to carry around -Videos are OK in sun light, TERRIBLE at night, and the microphone is useless -Video format does NOT WORK with iMovie 08, so if you have a Mac, do not get this camera! -Picture quality is not good using Auto mode, one must play around with settings to get a decent shot. -Slow as a dog... an OLD DOG -Stop reading this and get yourself a Canon! I don't know why I got this thing, I will go back to Canon as soon as I break this or loose it.

Battery dies after a while
I loved this camera when I first got it, but after not using it for a while, I tried to recharge the battery, and it died. Be ready to keep spending money on battery unless you use it and charge it frequently.
Rating :
Lots of features in your pocket
Outstanding pocket camera. Multiple easily selectable settings for indoors & outdoors photography, portraits, & still-life. The "museum" setting was better for photography of museum artifacts than any manual setting I tried. I also use the camera to capture digital information e.g. posters at scientific conferences and the resolution of the text is excellent. The replay of captured images is intuitive. The screen is big enough to show the photographs around ( I carry the camera around sometimes to show off pix of my kids and dogs). I agree with the other reviews that the charger is bulky but I carry a universal battery charger for my multiple gadgets so it doesn't bother me. And, the charger is actually more of a display station: you can set up the camera LCD screen to display a slide show of the stored photos. My previous camera was a highly recommended but bulky Minolta Dimage A1 and this camera stuffs all the features and more into a pocket-sized case at a third of the cost.

Stylish and very compact but with limited functionality
This compact 7 megapixel camera will easily fit in a pocket and is very convenient for social occasions. Unfortunately most of these happen indoors and in low light where the camera produces significant noise. This is probably related to the small sensor size. Pictures are good in bright light. I was shocked to discover that there is no aperture priority, shutter priority or manual mode. Instead there are numerous `best shot' modes, abbreviated BS (!). These are designated landscape, children, backlight, eBay, etc. It is hard to know exactly how each mode makes exposure settings so anyone interested in manually controlling depth of field will not like this camera. In short, you can only point, shoot and hope for the best.
Pros * Compact and stylish. * Big, bright LCD. * Low cost. * Has image stabilization, although a camera this small and light is hard to hold steady so there is probably no net benefit over a larger camera without stabilization.
Cons * High noise at higher ISO in low light. * No shutter priority, aperture priority or manual mode. * Slow to write to SD card. Shutter will not release when taking a rapid sequence of shots - a problem when photographing children. * Relatively near subjects (children that come towards you, not just flowers or insects) can only be focused in macro mode. This requires going into the menus which is often too slow and inconvenient resulting in missed opportunities. A button on the body would have been much better.
Rating :
Highly Disappointing
I'm hoping the retailer will take the camera back. Pro's: It's small. Cons: The battery has a very, very short life. After 10-12 pictures, I can't count on it being ready for the next round of photos. Shutter lag is too long. I know that's the number one gripe of all digital camera owners, but this one seems to be worse than any one that I've had. Next Picture cycle time can also be really terrible. If you're looking to capture the moment, chances are you'll be capturing the moment AFTER the moment. Don't get it.

Questions & Answers
Question : What is the best way to buy a casio digital camera?
I have seen ones that don't use flash and the pics look great. Can you suggest a model ,etc.
Answer:
I would recommend Canon PowerShot SD990IS (a good 14.2 mpx camera, just 350$, read the review: http://shortcamerareviews.com/canon-powershot-sd990is-digital-camera-review/).Or if you're looking for something cheaper, check the A1000IS, just 150$ (read the review: http://shortcamerareviews.com/canon-powershot-a1000is-digital-camera-review/)

Question : How to change pixel on Casio digital camera?
Not sure if I'm using the right term but I was told that if I adjust the size of the pictures taken on my digital camera to smaller I will be able to take more pictures using the same amount of memory? I have a Casio Exilim digital camera and was wondering if anyone knows how to adjust this? Thanks!
Answer:
If you go into the menu you will see something that says quality. You can change the size and quality here. It is really not a good idea though. You can always make a picture smaller but you can't make it bigger. If you get a picture that you would like to blow up you will be out of luck. Memory cards are cheap. Just buy a larger one.

Question : Does anyone know where I can find a new usb cable for my Casio Exilim EXZ75 digital camera?
I recently lost the usb cable for my Casio Exilim EXZ75 digital camera. Someone told me to get a card reader. Does a card reader work the same way? Which is better an usb cable or card reader?
Answer:
The USB cable applicable to your camera is proprietary. You can search the internet to find it, but contacting Casio is the easiest. Expect to pay $40+ for a new cable.Even better, just grab a card reader. It does almost everything. In terms of transferring photos, it works better (they're faster). If you want the advanced software upgrade features, or want to download images from the internal memory then you will need the cable. Note that software updates are not recommended to be taken on my novices and internal memory images can be copied to a memory card in the camera.Where to find a card reader? Well your computer might already have it. HP/Compaq has had them for a while on many models. If your computer has it, it will be on the front of your computer and one will be markes SD.If your computer doesn't have it, buy one. They start at around $15 at local stores and can be as low as $2 on http://dealextreme.com (expect to wait 4-6weeks for shipping and questionable quality). You want an SD card reader, but a multi-reader can't hurt. It'll plug into any USB port.
