FUJIFILM has introduced its award-winning EXR technology into the FinePix F70EXR, giving a significant improvement in image quality against other models. The F70EXR sports a neat compact design, at only 22.7mm thick. The chassis is crafted into a beautiful sculpted shell with a double -coated lacquer finish. A Fujinon 10x Zoom lens, developed in conjunction with the Super CCD EXR sensor, produces crisp high resolution results throughout the focal range, from 27mm wide-angle to 270mm telephoto.
Super CCD EXR Modeling the EXR sensor on the human eye, for the first time the user can 'flex' the behavior of the sensor according to the scene being photographed. When the light is strong and even, the camera can be switched to HR (High Resolution) mode to ensure every small detail is recorded. When ample light is present but strong contrast exists, the sensor can switch to DR (Dynamic Range) mode to get the optimal balance between highlight and shadows. Lastly, in low light the sensor will switch to SN (High Sensitivity and Low Noise) mode, to ensure clean noise-free pictures even in the darkest conditions.
EXR Modes A fantastic addition to the FinePix F70EXR, EXR Auto takes the guesswork out of setting the camera by doing everything for you. EXR Auto is essentially a very sophisticated set of program modes. The camera can automatically detect 6 different types of scenes - Portrait, Landscape, Macro, Backlit Portrait, Night, and Night Portrait. The camera will recognize the scene and not only will optimise focus, color balance, exposure, flash and sensitivity, but will also automatically switch the sensor to HR, SN or DR mode depending on the lighting conditions of the scene. Users of the FinePix F70EXR will rely heavily on EXR Auto for their general photography, letting the camera 'do all the hard work' leaving the photographer free to concentrate on getting the best shot possible. And a camera like the FinePix F70EXR, tak

Thinner, sexier and bolder than previous models, the FinePix Z37 is a party camera which loves to be the center of attention. The latest collection from the FinePix Z-series builds on the show-stopping design of the FinePix Z10fd and FinePix Z20fd. At an incredible 19.1 mm thickness, this camera is just so easy to carry, even when slipped into the tightest of jean pockets. The flush exterior boasts a funky sliding lens cover and gorgeous two-tone effect. The Z37 has a new, smaller sculpted design, great for bags, great for parties.
Technology and style have always been the benchmark for the Z-series range of Fujifilm cameras. The Z-series über cool design matches the demands of today's tech-savvy teenager, and the FinePix Z37 has it all. While the camera remains affordable for today's young, the specification is as strong as ever, with a sensor resolution of 10 megapixel and a sharp 3x zoom lens. The Picture Stabilization mode means that pictures at gigs and festivals will be pin-sharp, focused and effervescent with true-to-life colours. Combine this with the ability to take great shots in low-light with ISO-sensitivity to 1600, Face Detection and Fujifilm's amazing Scene Recognition Auto; the FinePix Z37 is THE must-have accessory.

Question : How can I get the memory card for the fuji digital camera to work?
Okay...So I just switched out my memory card for my digital camera and every time I turn it on it says "Card error!" I don't know what to do... I tried plugging it into my computer but when I do that it just says "The computer cannot detect the scanner or camera" I really want to take photo's tonight so if anyone has any clue on how to help me then I would really appreciate it! Thanks everybody.
Answer:
There are several possible causes for "memory card locked", "memory card error", or "no memory card". The most common is trying to use a 4GB or higher SDHC card with an older camera made before SDHC format came out. Other causes include problems with the tiny slide switch on the side of the card, or the electrical contact switch internal to the camera. The problem may also arise from simple formatting problems if the card has never been formatted in the camera (note that this will also erase the card). Troubleshooting tips for this problem may be found at this link.http://camerarepair.blogspot.com/2009/07/simple-fix-for-memory-card-locked-error.html

Question : zoom error on fuji digital camera, how much would it cost to fix it?
It is a fuji finepix f650. Would it be worth sending the camera to the factory to fix or buy a new one? I've only had the camera for 7 months but I did not keep the receipt and the box.
Answer:
If it's a zoom error that requires you to replace the lens on the camera, the parts and labor could run as high as the $200-250 range, but the only way to figure out exactly how much it would cost would be contact Fuji. Try calling their factory service center; they'll be able to tell you if it's something that's under warranty or if you'll have to pay for the repairs yourself, and should be able to give you a ballpark figure for the cost to you.http://www.fujifilmusa.com/JSP/fuji/epartners/ServiceSupportRepairContent.jsp?dbid=674543

Question : Digital camera advice from Fuji owners - battery charging?
My wife's just bought a Fuji finepix z70 digital camera, we're wondering when the battery is supposed to be charged, how long on average it takes? The instructions state to wait for the charge light to turn off, but this doesn't seem to be happening. The adapter lights changed from orange to green without any further indication its going to do anything. Is it ready? Has been on charge for hours.ThanksSo is the battery ready when its turned from red to green? You dont have to wait for it to turn off completely?
Answer:
These are variable. I have a Fuji S20 that takes 4 hours, using separate AA charger.I have a Pentax that takes a battery similar to your NP-45a Li-ion and it takes almost six hours. That's why I purchased 2 extra batteries and keep them charged, so I don't run out of power.I found your battery on amazon.com for about $15 each. These batteries last long so I would start with one back up.Regarding the charger lights, it has been my experience, when the light changes to green, the battery is charged.

Question : Anyone know of a great Olympus or Fuji point-and-shoot digital camera?
I'm looking for details here... I have lots of xD memory and my camera has gone belly up... anyone have feedback on current Olympus or Fuji digital cameras?
Answer:
Between those two brands...sorry, but Olympus is a brand I would never consider (due to it's so-so photo quality). The Fujifilm Finepix F30, however, is a compact point & shoot camera that performs extremely well in low light (high ISO, handheld, no flash). No other compact can compete with it in this area. I would buy it for that capability alone. So, if you want a compact camera particularly for low light situations, then it's the one to get. It also has great battery life of up to 580 shots. The newer, F31 fd, is a minor update but hasn't been reviewed as yet. But, if you ever decide to invest in SD memory, then have a look at Canon ;-)
