This camera was very easy for my daughter to learn how to use. The only thing which we were very disappointed with is the fact that you can't hear the video clips that you take with it. The quality of the pictures is pretty good for a camera of this price and especially for my daughter who's all of 11 years old! I would buy it again for another child!

This is a usually from kadak, if you ever had a kodak its simple, runs on batteries and does everything you need/want it too. This model is sllinder than others I have seen and owned(3rd kodak) and kodaks are as always cheap!! that is why I buy them but I rate it under because it runs on batteries(I got rechargables for it you need them it drains batteries quickly) and at first it is semi-complacated to use but easy if you take the time to figure it out. It is a nice sleek look in red and is not too bulky

A few small words of caution
The C180 is a terrific camera, especially at the current sale price.
BUT
Be prepared to go to [...] and print the 64 page user manual. What comes with the camera is less than worthless.
When you install the EasyShare software, do not choose the standard installation. There is nothing difficult about the custom/advanced option and it will allow you to opt out of installing some greeting card software they have added in. You will also have the chance to say you are interested only in software updates and not Kodak advertisements.

Great Buy for Valentines day!!!!! Well worth the money.
I bought this camera as a last minute impulse buy for my boyfriend for Valentines day. I ordered it on Friday evening and paid the extra for next day shipping. It got to my house about 5pm the next day. I was so excited.
I read EVERY review of this camera on here. I was a little worried about the battery life so I bought a ton of batteries just in case. The picture quality is amazing, The features are very fun and very simple to use. The batteries that came with it only lasted about 2 hours. I put fresh Energizer brand batteries in and I was very surprised at how long they lasted. We took several videos at least 3 minutes long or longer and about 60 pictures and they still had about a 1/4 of a charge left. The only thing I agree with everyone on is the lack of an external speaker for the videos is a bummer.
My boyfriend who worked in photography for many years loves it. He plays with it all the time just for fun.
The only tip I have is don't use the cord that comes with the camera to download the pictures. Simply remove the card and download directly off the card to your computer. It will save on your batteries and it cuts the download time in half or more. Im not overly excited about the Kodak software, as I have used it I am getting better at it but I still don't think it is very user friendly.
I would recommend this camera to anyone just wanting to document some fun times and memories with friends. It is a GREAT point and click.

Kodak EasyShare Z950 Digital Camera
Customer Review :
Sharp pics, but my dog isn't green..
The Z950 is easy to use and takes pretty high resolution pictures, but the lens can't quite justify the full 12mpx - even with a tripod I can't see much difference between my 6 and 12 mpx test shots. The low light performance is impressive for a point and shoot. The battery life is excellent - over 100 pictures one day, including about 10 with flash, and the battery indicator still read full. I have a minor issue with the color resolution - I took some shots of my white lab out in the snow, and the shadows under his chin came out an odd green color. You can only see it when you zoom way in, but this camera's color rendition program made that color up, for sure. My only other complaint is with the autofocus when taking video - not sure how to resolve this yet. The camera searches for focus for too long, and even when the image is in focus and the subject distance is quite constant, it searches again and again, driving the focus out then re-finding it. Obnoxious to view, but hey, this is a still, not a video camera. Overall, I think it's a good camera for the money.

Great camera, great pictures, even in dark places
This is a great camera, good zoom, great pictures even in dark areas, easy to use.

Great pictures, disappointing video
I wish I had known that the videos created are in QuickTime or MP3 format. Not easily compatible with Windows Movie Maker. The videos also are quite grainy in low light. But still pictures are quite good and this is an amazingly easy camera to use, which makes this a great choice.

Amazing for the price
I was looking for a general purpose digital camera and of course the bewildering choices and prices were daunting. The image stabilization requirement helped filter my choices a little as I have some hand tremor. Personally I like Kodak cameras. I had a Kodak Z740 that I used for years totally happy. But the Z950 really is amazing considering the on-board features in addition to optical image stabilization: digital red eye removal, video trimming, cropping of stills, on board help, multiple selection of pictures, the list goes on and on. For the price, I don't know how Kodak does it. The lens and zoom range are great. The manual that comes with the camera is seriously weak but you can download the pdf version of the "extended" user manual which is very complete. Just study this manual to find and use all the features. Navigation through the various menus is easy and fairly thoughtfully designed to be user friendly despite the plethora of options. I also use the camera at school as I am a high school science teacher and the digital video clips are great for capturing scenes that can then be analyzed using Video Point software. The video trimming capability is really helpful for using the clips with Video Point. High definition video helps here too. The bang for this camera is not in its looks, which are fairly boring, but in what's inside. Amazing.

Very Very good camera
I've had many Kodak cameras, but this one is (by far) the best Kodak I've owned. My last 1 was a V1073, gave good pictures but was very hard to view outside. This one seems to be much better at that. Pictures are of the best type. Have not found anything about this camera that I can talk bad about. Price-great. pictures-great. If I had anything bad to say about it, that would have to be the owners manual (users guide). It isn't the best I've used, but I can work around that part of it. Believe me, this Z950 is well worth it's price and will give you all you are asking for.

Kodak EasyShare M341 Digital Camera Orchid
Customer Review :
Average photo quality but auto focus has issues
I recently purchases this camera after my old Canon A95 died. The picture quality is better than I expected. It starts up quick and has a decent lag time between shots. Given the $100 price tag, I really shouldn't have any complaints. Regardless, the 'clicking noises' caused by the camera's auto focus constantly adjusting the position of the stepper motor that drives the lens is annoying. Annoying to the point that I wish I'd spent twice as much on different camera that had similar photo quality. One of my friends has a Canon A1100 that has similar performance but is quiet as a mouse. With the number of micro steps the auto focus directs the stepper motor to take, I'd be surprised if this camera lasts more than two years.

So far so good!
I am very pleased with my camara so far. This is the first digital Camaera I have owned or even operated! So I was a digital camara virgin so to speak. It was very easy for me to learn to operate --the instructions are very clear and easy to understand. I just had to play around with it a bit and was taking pictures and reviewing them right away. I love the picture quality but I have gone from the throw aways from the grocery store to this 12.2mp! I had a bit of trouble getting the pictures on my computer and needed a little outside help from my son--but again this is my first one. The feature I love about this Kodak easyshore camara is being able to upload the pictures to my facebook so easily! Also it is just the right size to put in my purse and carry with me everywhere so I can have it on hand. I just have to make sure it has a good charge before I go! It does seem to be holding its charge pretty good! I think this camara is a good digital camara for a first timer like me. I so look forward to all the pictures this camara and I will be taking together and all the memories I will be able to save and share.

For a relatively cheap camera, I love this! It takes AMAZING pictures- especially when you print them out. I couldn't have asked for a better camera for the price.

For a basic camera it's good
I have a wide variety of experience with cameras so my review is skewed a bit. That said, this camera is a nice, basic camera with decent picture quality. I haven't printed any photos yet- I do mainly online sharing of kid photos with this camera. My only complaint is that already the camera has had to be adjusted. At one point, for no discernable reason the camera would not focus- and there was plenty of light. I went into the camera menu and it was easy to return to factory settings. Now it is fine. Slow to focus but otherwise, a good camera for reasonable price. The shipping was fast.

Excellent Camera!!!!
Love this camera! The picture quality is amazing, up close photos turn out crisp and clear. Smart Capture setting auto adjusts photo lighting, exposure etc. to give you the most clear photos for your surroundings automatically! This camera is super easy to use even the manual is easy to use, 5-7 pages of everything you need to know about this camera with troubleshooting pages/tips at the end. An in camera HELP button also makes using this camera easy! The camera has the LI ION battery which makes the camera A LOT lighter, you really notice how bulky and heavy a double AA battery camera is once you start using this one, not only does it relieve the weight but not having to change batteries every so often while shooting pics at an event or parade and missing that one great shot is awesome. The battery that came with it has yet to die on me yet but I am going to go ahead and buy another just in case, just found one only $13 brand new! I used to be against Kodak cameras but this M341 has changed my mind!

Questions & Answers
Question : Can i somehow put filters on my tiny kodak digital camera??
I have a small kodak digital camera, it's just plain digital. It doesn't even have a "mm" sized lense. Just a regular digital camera. is there a way to adapt lenses to it? would they be effective if i had to rig up something? or would the become deffective because of the distance between the lens and the filter?
Answer:
what sort of filters do you want to add to it? in this age of digital photography the only useful filter would be a UV filter for protection, any other effects could be replicated in digital editing. If you do want effects without editing, you could get away with holding up a filter to the lens but, really, why? and yes, the further you hold from the lens, the more distortion you will get. but hey, try it. no harm can come...

Question : Kodak Digital camera, c653, got dampened in water is it repairable?
I got the kodak c653 digital camera which got dampened, can it be repaired if yes whom do i need to show? i stay at hyderabad, please suggest..
Answer:
Electronics and water don't go well together. If it works after drying out, great. If not, the water probably caused a short circuit which would make it doubtful that it can be repaired. However, I've seen electronics survive water damage, but the battery was ruined. You might get lucky and get by with only having to get a new battery.

Question : I got a big Kodak digital camera, and after every photo I take it says?
"processing. . ." and it takes a long time. Why does it do this? My smaller digital kodak camera is quick and doesnt stop to pocess anything. When I'm taking my photography photos I don't like to wait 30 seconds between each snapshot. Can I fix this?
Answer:
Normal advice here - Read the manual. If you do not even know what your camera is then there could be a bit of trouble though. The size of the file will make a difference as will the speed of the card it is dumping to.If your "big Kodak Digital camera" is shooting in RAW format then the files will take longer to dump to the card but it should not be taking 30 seconds even with an old and slow card.Shooting jpegs in a lower resolution will speed things up but you are sacrificing quality for speed. Mind you I doubt you will notice anyway.

Question : How can I get a clearer picture on my Kodak digital camera?
I have a P850 Kodak digital camera and I can't get close up pictures ( of flowers, animals etc..) to be very clear. Any suggestions?
Answer:
well if you have the 24-140 lens than your minimum focusing distance is 2.0 - 20.4 inches in macro focusing range according the datasheet online i found for this camera.if you are staying within those limits and have the lens or camera set to macro it should be in focus. if not try using a tripod to keep the camera steady alot of times its you moving and you don't realize it. if not staying within 2.0-20.4 inches of your subject and you need to get further or closer try close up filters wich any decent camera store should sell and carry. or try buying a macro lens which only does macro. lmk if these solutions don't help- i love helping solve camera problems like this.

Question : Question about Kodak digital camera and windows movie maker?
I have a Kodak digital "easy share" camera. It records video and i've put a couple video files from my camera directly on my computer. I can view them through Quicktime or on the internet (after uploaded), but windows media player doesnt work for them. They are in ".mov" format, and i dont know why i cant play them on windows. I also want to know why it wont let me upload them onto windows movie maker to edit and make a movie out of them. It says that ".mov" files are uploadable under WMM help, yet every time i try to upload them it says something along the lines of it not being compatable. Does anybody know why this is? Is there a way i can change it or fix it? I've gone through windows help of all sorts and cant seem to come to a solution. Serious answers only please.Thankyou!!!

Question : Is there a way to restore pictures saved to the internal memory of my Kodak digital camera?
My digital camera is a Kodak EasyShare CX7430. I had some pictures on the internal memory and they got erased, and unfortunately it seems I cannot restore them. When I hook the camera up to my computer, it recognizes it as a device, not removable media. I would be willing to do anything, as I am also going to contact Kodak. Since the camera doesn't work anymore anyway, I would also be willing to take the camera apart. Please help me! I have tried numerous programs and so far nothing works. Thank you!
Answer:
I've looked and looked, and I haven't seen any way of recovering photos from internal memory. With a media card, you are able to mount the card as a drive and search it for missing files. With internal memory, there's no way for any recovery program to access the memory, since it is accessed by the camera's proprietary software interface. Here's the support page for your camera.http://www.kodak.com/global/en/service/products/ekn027989.jhtml?pq-path=1931You should be able to find the tech support contact info there. Hopefully they will have a better answer than mine.

I want to plug my Kodak camera into my TV so it can record video game footage. Does anyone know if this works? If anyone has done this before please assist me! I appreciate it!

It might. You might have better results if you just buy a video capture card for your computer. It will be a lot cheaper too.
