Questions & Answers
Question : Digital Camera Recording Software?
Hey guys... I have a Logitech QuickCam Pro for notebooks and I have been using VideoImpression to record videos because the Logitech software has a 3minute limit. The way VideoImpression works is it will record until your computer completely runs out of memory. However, it records in .AVI which takes up very large amount of space. Is there any software that would record in a different format but would still allow me to use up all my memory if I so desire?
Answer:
You can go to the site below, all of their software is free. you may find something there to use.

Question : How to connect a wireless controller to ps3?
I have a wireless Logitech controller which does not have a usb cord spot to plug in my ps3. It uses AA batteries. The actual name of the controller is the cordless rumblepad and it looks like this http://www.google.ca/imgres?imgurl=http://www.digital-camera-near.com/images/Logitech-Cordless-Rumbl epad-2-with-Vibration-Feedback-Black-B0002XJBGE-L.jpg&imgrefurl=http://www.digital-camera-near.com/L ogitech/Logitech-Cordless-Rumblepad-2-with-Vibration-Feedback-Black-B0002XJBGE.htm&usg=__v2NBc1lMjJz kNLoral8h9IwFzd4=&h=333&w=500&sz=20&hl=en&start=0&sig2=tMhNw49m3qV-euEZjrsj9w&tbnid=cxgWCTNn8r2lyM:& tbnh=132&tbnw=185&ei=CoFYTPi8K9aeONm62MgJ&prev=/images%3Fq%3Dlogitch%2Brumblepad%2Bcontroller%26hl%3 Den%26sa%3DG%26biw%3D1280%26bih%3D903%26gbv%3D2%26tbs%3Disch:1&itbs=1&iact=rc&page=1&ndsp=32&ved=1t: 429,r:10,s:0&tx=49&ty=74 . i used it with my ps3 before but i don't know why it's not working. I want to use it to play multi player for cod4, can anyone show me the steps how to solve this??
Answer:
Okay, first check to see if the batteries are working. That might be the problem. You might also have to charge it which would require a cord. But if it doesn't have a cord plug in then you might need to check out your PS3. Pressing the Playstation button on the controller can work too.Go to accesorries or system settings on the XMB toolbar. And try to get the controller to the first person spot. If this doesn't work, you might have bought the wrong controller.

Question : How do i install my logitech webcam without installing the whole program?
It is a cheesy digital camera that is a big prgram to install. I want to install just the camera so it works as a webcam insead of the whole program. How do i do this?
Answer:
it should be a plug and play, if not the cd should have an option for driver install only. check the manual, or find out what kind of webcam it is and download the drivers yourself and skip the whole installing the program part.

Question : Should I get a VistaQuest 5 MP Digital Camera or Logitech QuickCam Communicate STX 1.3MP webcam?
My mom said she would buy me a digital camera, because I told her about one I seen on walmart's website which was cheap (we're on a budget) so we can't afford digital camera's that are over 50 bucks, it sucks but as long as I have something to take pictures of myself/with friends it's alright. What i'm wondering is, the VistaQuest 5 MP Digital Camera any good? like will the pictures I take be clear and not all pixely? and is there a screen on the back where you can see the picture you took so if you don't like it you can delete it...like most digital camera's? -- I'm stumped really, I don't want to get the VistaQuest 5 MP Digital Camera and turns out the pictures suck.. or should I get a Logitech QuickCam Communicate STX 1.3MP webcam instead? and would it be better than that camera?Scratch the Logitech QuickCam Communicate STX 1.3MP, I checked Wal-Mart's website and it's not there (Unless I check with the person who sold us this laptop he owns a computer/supplies shop) if he doesn't have it would a Logitech QuickCam Communicate STX, 961464 be any good? they have that one at wal-mart.
Answer:
For less than $50 you're not going to get a great digital camera. You get what you pay for...and for less than $50 you're going to get toylike cr*p.The 5.0MP Vistaquest has a very small LCD screen (1.5"). And it ONLY has digital zoom. For good image quality you need optical zoom. If you do decide to buy it...then make sure you NEVER zoom, because your images will be very 'pixely' if you do.It comes with no internal memory or card, so you would need to buy a card. You would also need to buy good batteries (rechargeables are best). Unfortunately, the camera only uses AAA size batteries. If you want better quality and features (not a great camera, but ok enough), you will need to spend a little more ($80-$100).I actually own the Logitech Communicate STX webcam. It's a good webcam...so it you need a webcam, you would probably think it's ok. But don't expect to take fantastic still photos with it. It's a webcam, after all...That other webcam (961464) is IDENTICAL to the Quickcam Communicate STX you wanted...it's the exact same one. The number is just the product code.

Question : can i use a Canon camera as a webcam?
Yeah, i was wondering if i can use my digital camera (Canon digital IXUS 40) as a webcam? i googled it, but i didn't find a good answer for it. ah well, im using a logitech webcam, which sucks. and my friends told me that i can use a digital camera, so i was wondering, does it really work? and how?and yeah, if i cant use it as a webcam, can i use it on the computer in some other way? thank you for your time :)
Answer:
The answer to this VERY common question is nearly always "No". Read your manual - if it was possible, you can be sure your manual would tell you how to do it.Even if you COULD find the necessary drivers, software etc, why would you even WANT to use your still camera (think of all the wear and tear on camera and batteries), when a $20 web cam does a perfectly wonderful job of it and can remain all hooked up and ready to use?Had you bothered to do a quick search, you would have found MANY answers to this.
