Great Camera!
This is biggest and best little camera, period! Point and shoot for clear, bright, in focus pictures. It also has a lot of big camera features if you are a more advanced photographer.
This was a gift for my wife, who is NOT into all the bells and whistles, and she fell in love with it!

Customer Review :
Nice camera for the price.
This the third Panasonic camera I've purchased, and I'm very pleased with all of them. This camera does burn through rechargeable batteries very quickly, however. It does well with alkalines, so my daughter will be able to use them when she travels to England. The picture quality is good. The choice of settings allows her to take photos under various conditions. She is very much a novice, so the camera was a good choice. It has a nice zoom and quickly recycles to take the next shot.

Extremely good value for price
This camera is sold very cheaply, especially refurb or used, under 100$. it performs better than any camera you can get at this price! the pictures have great detailed quality. outdoors, the quality is similar to decent SLR camera. Zoom is big, wide angel is also great. I have it as a second camera, and when I need a point and shoot this is a great choice. I tried few before and was not happy, the main reason was the small poor lenses you get on all the cheaper cameras, this one has a relatively large and bright lens. No viewfinder, that's the only disadvantage.

Round spots of photographs taken inside
I have returned the camera two times and Panasonic replaced the lens system both times but the camera continues to have round spots on pictures taken inside as it has from my orginial purchase. I have purchased several Panasonic products in the past but I am looking at other brands for my next purchase. I cannot believe Panasonic would market a product with its name on it and not be able to correct this problem.
B. Deal

Great Camera
This is actually our second DMC LZ7. Our first one was destroyed by an airline. Manual is very easy to understand, and the camera is very easy to operate. Takes great pictures. I don't do anything fancy when taking pictures, but it's just fine for what I need it to do.

Simply set the 10.1-megapixel DMC-FS20 to iA mode and let the four Intelligent Auto functions team up to help prevent shooting errors. Intelligent Scene Selector chooses the mode that best fits the situation; MEGA Optical Image Stabilization (O.I.S.) helps prevent blurring from hand-shake; Intelligent ISO Control helps prevent motion blur; and Face Detection helps produce clear portraits by optimizing the focus and exposure settings. The 30mm wide-angle Leica DC Vario-Elmar lens with 4x optical zoom takes wider shots than an ordinary 35mm lens. This is helpful in small rooms or crowded places, for example, letting you fit more people into a group photo. There's also an Easy Zoom button on the camera top - just press it, and the optical zoom and Extra Optical Zoom instantly extend to full telescopic position. This quick zooming lets you catch even fleeting opportunities. The brightness and contrast of the large 3.0" diagonal LCD adjust automatically in 10 steps as ambient light conditions change, so images are clear, bright and easy to see day or night, indoors or outdoors. f=5.2-20.8mm (35mm Equiv. - 30-120mm) Focal Length 3.0 Diagonal Polycrystalline TFT LCD Display (230K dots) Focusing Area Normal - Wide 50cm/ Tele 100cm - infinity, Macro / Intelligent AUTO - Wide 10cm / Tele 100cm - infinity 8 - 1/2,000 sec. Awsome Pic.Quality
The flash flashes twice before actually taking the picture, other then that-if that doesn't bother you, this is the best camera (I've owned) yet (I've had my share). The rechargeable battery is the best thing ever. My profile pic. was taken with this camera, its great. The service was fast and price reasonable, Would reccomend and buy from again!

Questions & Answers
Question : CAMERA EXPERTS! I am trying to buy a replacement battery for my Panasonic digital camera Panasonic Lumix DMC-?
what are the pro's and con's of the 950 mAh and the 1400 mAh?
Answer:
Are you comparing batteries from the same manufacturer? That makes a difference. If manufacturer is the same the 1400mah battery will allow you to take more photos per charge. Theoretically about 50% more. For example if the 950mah gets 300 shots per charge the 1400mah battery would get 450 shots per charge. If the 950mah battery is a respected name brand and the 1400mah battery is one of the cheap imports from Ebay you may not see such an improvement.

Question : Is our Panasonic digital camera ruined?
We have a Panasonic digital camera, 7megapixel, and have had it about 2 years now. The past couple months we noticed all pictures we take, that once we load them on a computer or print them there is a horizontal line through it. Every picture has this line through them and it's annoying. Can it be fixed or just get a new camera?
Answer:
My guess is that this is a fault in the CCD sensor (the "film" in a digital camera). There were a rash of these problems in sensors produced by Sony in 2005 (see link below) with the common symptom of a horizontal line appearing on the image. Many companies were will to fix this fault for free. You have (possibly) two options. 1. If you can gain access to the sensor (depending on the camera, you might be able to take off the lens to get access), you might use a lens blower to try to knock off any dust, etc that fell onto the sensor. It's possible (though unlikely) that this is your problem. 2. You can call Panasonic and tell them about the problem, highlighting that this is a sensor fault, and try to get them to spring for the repair. If they won't the cost of the repair is probably prohibitive (around $200 for Canon), so you'll end up tossing the camera.

Question : How do I fix my Panasonic Digital Camera? The power wont turn on... And the battery is fully carged?
I have a Panasonic Lumix FXM01 and when I try to turn it on nothing happens. I tried buying a new Battery and charged it fully , thinking that I was a faulty battery. So I'm kinda scared on buying anything else, because I could be wasting my money... Any-one out there experienced the same problem???plz write bak, if you have any ideas, Thanx
Answer:
Might be a jammed lens - that often prevents cameras from turning on. It may also be that the camera is simply fried.

Question : Whats better a Nikon or Panasonic digital camera?
Trying to buy a new camera, im looking at a Nikon and a Panasonic, which one should i get?
Answer:
Look at Nikon, or CanonMy preference in the larger DSLR's are the Nikon's (of course!)Canon makes good stuff too, but I prefer the "ergonomics" or layout on the Nikon. In the smaller Point n shooters, Canon may have the slight edge. Both cameras are good, but Canon gives a larger selection of cameras with an "optical viewfinder" which I prefer in the bright sunlight. Those LCD viewfinders can be hard to see in bright sunlight.Make sure you get one with the VR (Vibration Reduction, Nikon)or the IS (Image Stabilization, Canon) to help you get good shots in the low light tough shooting conditions.

Question : does digital camera Panasonic Lumix DMC-FS3 have the function zoom while recording ?
my digital camera, Panasonic Lumix DMC-FS3, does it have the function zoom while recording ? if yes, how do i turn that function on ?
Answer:
No, unfortunately, it doesn't. Very few compact cameras allow you to zoom while recording video. Unlike camcorders, the zoom mechanism for a compact camera is motor driven, and the camera will pick up the noise of the motor if you zoom while you're recording. For this reason, the feature is almost always disabled by the manufacturer.

Question : I just found a new Panasonic digital camera on the street! What should I do?
A. Keep it! B. Go to the police. C. Sell it and keep the money. D. Put out an ad and try to find the owner. What would you do? The camera is used, but still new. Worth about $100, I'd say.
Answer:
try and find the owner
