Questions & Answers
Question : My panasonic digital camera (fx7) makes sc cards write pritected. Is that common?
This is my secound sd card which became write protected itself, I think it busted. Does this came from my Panasonic digital camera FX series?

Answer:
Your SD card comes with a sliding switch on the edge that locks or unlocks your card. It's easy enough to accidently slide it into the locked position.Hope that helps.

Question : Is our Panasonic digital camera ruined?
We have a Panasonic digital camera, 7megapixel, and have had it about 2 years now. The past couple months we noticed all pictures we take, that once we load them on a computer or print them there is a horizontal line through it. Every picture has this line through them and it's annoying. Can it be fixed or just get a new camera?

Answer:
My guess is that this is a fault in the CCD sensor (the "film" in a digital camera). There were a rash of these problems in sensors produced by Sony in 2005 (see link below) with the common symptom of a horizontal line appearing on the image. Many companies were will to fix this fault for free. You have (possibly) two options. 1. If you can gain access to the sensor (depending on the camera, you might be able to take off the lens to get access), you might use a lens blower to try to knock off any dust, etc that fell onto the sensor. It's possible (though unlikely) that this is your problem. 2. You can call Panasonic and tell them about the problem, highlighting that this is a sensor fault, and try to get them to spring for the repair. If they won't the cost of the repair is probably prohibitive (around $200 for Canon), so you'll end up tossing the camera.

Question : Panasonic Digital Camera DMC-LS75 wants to be turned off and on again?
Every time I turn on my camera, it boots up and then presents the following message on the screen "Please turn camera off and then on again". The camera is then unresponsive. I have put new batteries in the camera without any change. Anybody know what it causing this?

Answer:

Question : Where can I buy a Panasonic Lumix Digital Camera for a low price?
Camera: Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ100 14.1 MP Digital Camera I wanted to buy it from Amazon but it keeps increasing the price like every couple of days and now its to like almost $500 and I cant afford it...Does anyone know where I can buy it for less? because it used to be $430..... THANKS SOOO MUCHH!!!Can I have a direct answer please? :c that dosn't really help.

Answer:
I checked all my favorite places and couldn't find any deals, sorry. The best price I could find was from Panasonic themselves.http://www2.panasonic.com/consumer-electronics/shop/Lumix-Digital-Cameras/model.DMC-FZ100 K_11002_7000000000000005702Please be careful to not buy it from some ripoff place. Verify any vendor with http://www.resellerratings.com/The only choices I see for you are to pay the full retail price, or wait for a sale, or go for a different camera.

Question : Does anyone know anything bad about the $300 Panasonic Digital Camera?
My husband just bought one, but has not tried it out yet. I liked the Kokak or better name brand, is Panasonic a goodd name in the digital camera department? Thanks. It is a FZ7, thanks.

Answer:
Which model? I've had an FZ1 for over two years and it has been great. The image stabilization and the 12x optical zoom work well together. I've even had some pictures taken with the camera accepted on one of the stock photography sites.

Question : I want to buy a Panasonic digital camera but wondered which model in the TZ range has better images?
I can see that different models have come out but on Flikr I saw images taken by the TZ 5 were really impressive on portraits and holiday pictures, but I wondered if anyone could say which TZ models are equally good.I do not mind if it is older versians, basically I am seeking a good holiday camera in this range, specifically Egypt

Answer:
Well the TZ6 and TZ7 were released the same time I think? and the TZ7 just has a bit bigger screen but costs more. The TZ8 and TZ10 were released at the same time, the newer range and the TZ10 just has GPS, has slightly better megapixel and a slightly bigger screen but costs more. I also heard that the GPS takes up battery life but you can turn it off.

Question : The memory card for my Panasonic digital camera acquired a virus. I want to save the files. What should I do?
The virus is a worm, I think but i won't be able to confirm it because I'm afraid the virus will get into my PC. I really badly need to save the photos. What should I do?

Answer:
Cameras don't get "viruses" as they do not use a standard operating system. If your card did somehow get a virus on it, it is because someone put it into an infected computer and transferred files to the card. But if you format the card in the camera like you should be doing, it will get rid of the virus on the memory card. So, save the images to your computer using a USB card reader to transfer the images and then format the card with the camera. Here is the work flow I follow after taking photos:1)Download the memory card content to your computer using a USB card reader2)Verify the transfer was a success3)Back up the files on your computer to another hard drive (or CDs)4)Format the memory card with your camera (and not with the computer)Do this at the end of every day that you take photos/videos

Question : How can i transform a Panasonic digital camera DSC LS80 in a webcam ?
How can i transform a Panasonic digital camera DSC LS80 in a webcam ?

Answer:
If it is possible to do, the most likely answer is that you hook the camera into the computer via the USB port on the computer & a cable that came with the camera, and you turn the camera on record. If the camera is web-cam-capable, this should stream a video to your computer. If you are into digital camera's, sometime you should check out Ceiva's HD wireless digital picture frames. http://snurl.com/98odw
