10.0 MP Digital Camera with 3.0-Inch LCD Display
Customer Review :
Poor from the start
This camera never took a decent picture in the 24 hours I had it. It went back the next day. The images were blurry and I was not happy with the zoom. I purchased a Nikon Cool Pix and am thrilled with the results. Save yourself some aggravation and don't choose this Polaroid.

Polaroid t1031
For the price, I am very happy with this camera. I'm am no camera expert but I feel that the resolution was very clear, I could use some of the pictures for my drawings. The camera is great I have owned it a while! I had my friend take some pictures of me competing in a drawing contest. The pictures turned out very nice! Especially for the price this camera is a good DEAL! I was just gonna use it for just hanging out with friends and photographing my drawings, but I might use it for more.

Horrible camera
I bout this camera about a week ago it came on friday and it was packaged very nice. i opened it and i took a pic and it was a good pic when u had the flash on , but if u didnt have the flash on the pics werent good. And the flash was realy bright it was blinding! the next day i went to take a pic of my cows and as i was walking back the lens wouldnt come out and i turned it on and it just made a grainy noise and then it just said goodbye. so i plaayed with it for a while and still no luck. the color of this is nice but the camera is very bad. i wouldnt recomend that any1 buys this.

Excelent Deal!
Sometimes you might think that purchasing something cheap would turn out to be unfunctional (as usual) but I must admit this Polaroid breaks the scheme on this one! Very good camera, nice resolution, very functional, great features. Only thing, as some have already mentioned it is kinda slow when it comes to taking a shot, anyhow thats nothing to worry about unless your willing to use this camera for professional purposes (which is not its use).

3.0 MP Digital Camera with 1.5-Inch LCD Display
Customer Review :
Good camera for the price
This is a great starter camera. We bought it for our 14 year old son to take on a trip. There were some grainy pictures but most of them came back very sharp. It seems that the camera took much sharper distance pictures (even using the zoom) but gets grainy when taking close up pictures. For the price we were very happy with it.

Poor quality
So, essentially, this camera did not work and I had to return it. I purchased brand new rechargeable batteries and the camera wouldn't even work for 5 minutes.

Doesn't Work with Mac OS 10.6 Snow Leopard, Horrible support on website.
I'm still getting to know this product, but can't seem to get beyond one key deficiency. I'm using this with a MacBook running Mac OS 10.6 (Snow Leopard). I have tried every possible way to make this camera talk to the laptop, including changing the order I plug things in, adding an SD Ram card, looking for drivers... the works! The only thing more frustrating than not being able to make these two things talk to each other is the incredible lack of support that Polaroid has on their website. The **ONLY** thing they have listed for the A330 is a link to the manual. That's It!! I purchased these for a project with kids in a summer program, and I don't have time to send them back. But if I had it to do all over again, I would go with something else. As it is, these may end up at the dump after this project is done.

Camera for a 5 year old
We bought this camera for our 5 year old son. It works great for this purpose. Simple point and shoot, no zoom and no major options. The megapixels are way better than the cameras they sell specifically for kids and it costs less. It is light weight and small, so perfect for little hands. My only concern is that it may get damaged easier than a camera designed for kids, but it has not done so yet. The camera holds about 30 pics on the internal memory and then needs to be downloaded and cleared. However, a memory card can be used to hold more pics at one time. My son has had the camera about 2 months and it is already saving us money over the cost of disposable cameras and development costs.

bought it for my 5 year old
I bought it for my 5 year old for his birthday after he started wanting to take pictures with mine. It is perfect for him. I only had to show him how to operate it one time and he loves it! His only complaint is the battery compartment opens up too easily. I had to add a strap from my old digital camera so too bad it wasn't supplied. Picture quality is fair but fine according to him. Pictures in areas that are not well lit don't come out very well. Still it is better than the kid's digital camera he had before and comparable in price. I definitely feel I got what I paid for and he loves it!

Camera
Excellent birthday present for my 6 yr old daughter who wanted a camera. Very lightweight. A great starter camera!

Good first camera
Ordered for my niece and is good for a low cost digital camera. Pictures are acceptable and not the best quality as expected. Would recommend to younger users as it's very simple.

Digital Camera
This is a lovely camera. My teenage daughter loves it. And she is very "picky" about certain items, especially electronics. Before I buy anything online, I read the customer reviews. As always their are mixed reviews, but more good than bad. Some of the bad reviews stated that the camera would not "sync" to their computers. My daughter had this problem due to an oversight when following the instructions. When we took it slow and performed the "sync" instructions correctly, the camera linked to the computer without a problem. Just a little patience can carry you a long way. I would DEFINITELY recommend this product. Thanks again, Amazon.

cheap price for budget camera
Camera looks nice but is a very budget camera. I bought this for my 4 year old daughter and it's a good beginner camera but that's it. Pictures are a bit blurry and not great quality. Memory card slot is only covered by a piece of rubber that doesn't stay closed after opened first time so real easy to get dirt, sand, moisture, etc. in there. All in all, good camera for kids that you won't worry about if they drop it, get it wet, etc.
Rating :
never again
i bought this camera for my kids to take pictures for our annual family reunion. the instructions are not clear. this camera could not load on my NEW computer and the pictures erased. i bought a memory card to put the pictures taken on it, no improvement..horrible camera. i wasted my money with this purchase.

This easy to use point-and-shoot Digital Camera is everything you'd expect in a professional digital camera! Shoot manually or choose from 15 scene modes for customized images. The Polaroid i1036 Digital Camera lets you take video clips with audio, and the 16MB built-in storage is expandable with SD cards for complete photo storage.
Customer Review :
Not all that a great product
I really went for the price of this product, but the quality was below average for a 10 mega pixel camera. I must have bought a Sony or a Canon which were just a little more expensive than this poloroid.

Powerless
If you press the power button on a camera with new batteries, it should respond. This one responds sometimes. I can't tell you how many wonderful photographs have been missed because of the power button. I have been trying to turn it for the past 3 minutes and finally got it to turn on. I bought it last week from CompUSA, and it sucks. Spend the extra money and get a Cybershot or a Playsport.
Rating :
Absolutely a great buy!
The Polaroid i1036 is amazingly versatile for the money. This digital camera doesn't guzzle battery power and takes great pics. Some of the features are image stabilization, face tracking, smile detection to name a few. I haven't begun to master all the exposure options and other features available, but I'm very pleased with the pics I've taken so far of both people and objects. For example, I photographed quilts. It captured the colors well and did a wonderful job of showing the quilting on closeups. Photos of people have come out well.
Users of this camera will need to purchase a memory card separately, but that is a minor expense.
I highly recommend this camera for both point and shoot and those who want more features. You can't beat the price for what you get.

Great Camera
Great camera. Being somewhat technically illiterate, all of the bells and whistles were too much at first. I was immediately able to take great pictures even though I could not figure out all of the options.

GREAT!
This camera is amazing for the money. Love the pictures. Took it on my vacation to lake arrowhead and everyone couldn't believe that this camera took such good pictures.

Good Inexpensive Camera
This is a a good little camera for the price you pay. The photo quality is excellent and it had all the features I was looking for. You definitely want to get a memory chip for the camera at point of purchase. The only limitation to the camera is that you can not here audio on any replay of video in the camera. Now it does record sound as promised, but you won't know how it sounds until you transfer it to a computer. And the audio quality is not that super. But it is a great little camera for the price. I am happy with it.

Ugh
I wasn't really paying attention when I was buying this, so I blame myself for some of this. But I have no clue why the ratings are so high on this camera. It takes really bad quality photos and it feels so light that I'm afraid it will break. I really want to return this camera, trying to figure out how.

superior quality
dependability and ease of use are what i rate a product. i have seen digital cameras that sell for $300-$400. that dont perform anywhere near as good or produce the quality of images. to top it of you get avi too! if you want the camera to perform flawlessly all you have to do is take the time to read the instructions and you will have no problems. one of the biggest problems with this product is that people dont take the time to learn to use this fine product. it gets 4stars from me.
Rating :
Acceptable
Purchased for my 8-year old daughter. Works fine for her purposes. Zoom is slow. Camera does not retain mode setting between power on/off so if you have it in video mode and shut it off, it will revert to picture mode when you turn it back on. Picture quality OK.

I bought this for my 7 year old. He figured out to use it mostly by himself. On the product description it says it takes Triple AAA batteries, but it actually takes double AA. He loves the video mode, but wishes it has sound. This camera has no Mic. I think for the price this is a great camera to buy for a child to start out with. Things I like about it are that you have an expandable card slot so he can take tons of pictures, and it has a nice big screen on the back for him to watch what his is filming or taking a photo of.

Questions & Answers
Question : how can I get my polaroid digital camera work as a web-cam?
I have been wanting to use my 6.0 megapixel camera as my web cam. Have done everything that the instructions tell me still nothing. can anyone help me?
Answer:
You can't, the USB interface on digital cameras is purely for data transfer, it just goes straight to the flash storage in the card or built into the camera.

Question : where can i buy a polaroid digital camera?

Answer:

Question : Should I get an original polaroid camera, a digital polaroid camera or neither?
My birthday is coming up and i am thinking of asking for a polaroid camera but i dont know wheather i should get an origional big and bulky polaroid, the digital equivalent which does the same thing (prints off the pictures after taking them) or should i get neither of them?it would be great to have answers from anyone who owns them who can give me the pros and cons of each of them but any advice is welcome :Dthankyou for any answers :)
Answer:
If you want polaroid prints. Go to the original. The zink one is crappy. And it isn't the same polaroid. Just some chinese bought the name and put it on some cheap products.ONE thing, is that film is very complicated to get. The impossible project started to make new polaroid film, but it's far from being perfect. Instead, there is the Fuji Instax system. If you are more advanced, there is a system of holders for medium and large format cameras.

Question : Is the Polaroid i835 digital camera the same exact model as the Polaroid Speed star i835?
I'm looking to buy a digital camera. Someone recommended the Polaroid Speed Star i835. When I search at online retailers, all I see is the i835. Is this the exact same camera, or is there something special about the "Speed star" part of it? Is it a separate model? When i did a search for reviews online, all i found was the i835 that came out last year (08). Thanks for your help!
Answer:
I searched for both & found different pages, so I think they are probably slightly different models, but I didn't find any difference in the quality of pictures from both, or the specs that people stated for them, so I would guess they're from the same series but a slightly different camera. Once you do get the perfect camera, and pictures, check out the digital frames I saw at Ceiva. http://snurl.com/98odw

Question : Which polaroid digital camera would be be better for me?
My Polaroid i533 was stolen yesterday. It had 5.0 Megapixels. To replace it, there are 6 and 7 megapixels by Polaroid out there. Are they really that much better quality pictures? I do a lot of cropping and editing on pictures and did sometimes get the warning that they did not recommend the print size that I had chosen. Would a 6 or 7 improve that?
Answer:
Well i have a Poloroid too!! But since you do editing you should DEFENETLY get the 7 megapixels. It is a WHOLE lot better for that stuff.

Question : My Polaroid digital camera i834 only takes blurry pictures, how do I fix this?
I have had this camera for less than a year, and it always takes blurry pictures. I have lost the manual and guide, so I don't know if there is anyway to fix this problem. Is there any settings on the camera that will make it take clearer pictures?
Answer:
You can download a manual here:http://www.polaroid.com/service/userguides/digital/cameras/i834_ug_en.pdfIf it's blurry even when you use flash with the subject about 6 feet away then make sure that the macro setting isn't on. If it is there will be an icon of a flower at the top of the screen.

Question : Can a polaroid digital camera hook up to a mac laptop?
I need a camera and I don't know if it will work on a mac. Help!
Answer:
It will, of course ... any digital camera will connect to a Mac or PCI am surprised you spend the money on a Mac and then did not buy a mainstream P&S camera, like Nikon, Canon, Casio, Pentax, Panasonic or other like those listed on http://www.dpreview.comPolaroid digital cameras are basically a generic camera with a "know" old name.
