Questions & Answers
Question : My Polaroid digital camera i834 only takes blurry pictures, how do I fix this?
I have had this camera for less than a year, and it always takes blurry pictures. I have lost the manual and guide, so I don't know if there is anyway to fix this problem. Is there any settings on the camera that will make it take clearer pictures?
Answer:
You can download a manual here:http://www.polaroid.com/service/userguides/digital/cameras/i834_ug_en.pdfIf it's blurry even when you use flash with the subject about 6 feet away then make sure that the macro setting isn't on. If it is there will be an icon of a flower at the top of the screen.

Question : do i need a install disk for a polaroid digital camera?
i got a polaroid digital camera off of a friend and it came with no disk!!i dont even know if it needs one.if so where can i go to get the install disk.
Answer:
If your camera uses memory cards a disc is not necessary to get your photos onto the computer. If it uses memory cards, simply use the USB cable (if supplied) or a card reader that accepts the card.It may need a driver if the images are saved internally. If this is the case, try to find your camera model here and download the necessary drivers:http://www.polaroid.com/service/productList.jsp?ATR_ServiceHT=Object+ID%3A+8163873836275835& ATR_ServiceMRH=Object+ID%3A+8163873836275834&__TYPE=9&attrUptodate=true&createDt=2007-04-17+14%3A24% 3A11&createdBy=2%2C256%2C197%2C860%2C196%2C362&createdByUser=Zwinggi%2C+Nick&folderID=2%2C534%2C374% 2C302%2C035%2C005&label=Digital+Cameras&modifiedBy=2%2C256%2C197%2C860%2C196%2C353&modifiedByUser=BL UE+MARTINI%2C+Default+Admin&modifyDt=2007-05-03+14%3A45%3A29&name=DigitalCameras&objectType=9&parent ObjectType=SUB_ASSORTMENT&path=%2FAssortments%2FService%2FService%2FDrivers%2FDigitalProducts%2FDigi talCameras&priority=20&pubVersion=139&sba_id=2534374302035007&sba_parent_id=2%2C534%2C374%2C302%2C03 5%2C005&shortDesc=Digital+Cameras&status_cd=A&bmUID=1194125432736&bmLocale=en_USTypically, the discs include drivers and some simple editing/viewing/organizing tools. It's difficult when you don't specify the model.

Question : Why does my Polaroid digital camera keep turning off?
When ever I would turn the camera on and off it would say hello and goodbye. Now the camera wont snap a picture and will turn off. I have new batteries, the same brand of batteries I had before, just new. Is there a reset bottom lol. Any info will be great.
Answer:
could be the lens is sticking and cannot open properly or you have a short inside.

Question : Repair work for a Polaroid Digital camera?
My Polaroid Digital camera seems to be having trouble with the light meter. It uses the flash when there is enough light but when it's dark the flash won't go off. I have it set on automatic flash. This wasn't a problem until recently. Should I contact the manufacturer to see about getting it repaired of are their any camera repair shops out there?
Answer:
contact manufacturer

Question : Polaroid digital camera keeps shutting off, even with new batteries?
So, just the other day, I went to take a picture and as soon as I pressed the button, the screen went black. It also does this when I first turn it on, then I have to turn it on again and it's fine. I put new batteries in it, not Polaroid or anything, and 5 seconds later, it said replace battery. I have no idea what to do to get it to work. I miss my camera!! Any suggestions? It's a couple years old.
Answer:
It's possible you aren't using the right kind of batteries - for instance, there are some cameras that use AA batteries, but if you use regular AA batteries, they don't work well, and instead you need expensive lithium AA batteries made for cameras (you have to get them at a camera store or at the photo department of stores like Walmart or Target). However, if the batteries aren't the problem, then get a new camera - and not a Polaroid. Years ago, Polaroid made really good products, but their more recent products from the past few years are really junk - especially anything digital/electronic.

Question : Which one is better polaroid of digital camera?
well i was planning to buy an instax mini by fujifilm, a polaroid camera, but my mum thought the films are a bit costly and i dont mind buying a digital cam instead but out of interest which one is more efficient because i could find some on ebay for about half price (films)... im on a tight budget :)
Answer:
Support for polaroid cameras is almost non-existent since they stopped producing new instant photo cameras a year or two back, which will make finding new film increasingly difficult down the line.A digital camera is by far the better option.

Question : Audio on my Polaroid digital camera is lacking. How can I improve it with my home microphone?
I plan on buying a studio quality microphone soon for when I start performing on Youtube. But I have no idea how to combine the audio from that microphone to my Polaroid i1237 digital camera! What can I do?
Answer:
If your camera has audio input ports then all you have to do is plug in your microphone to your camera. If none then you'll have to use an audio recorder to connect the mic to then combine audio and video in the computer.

Question : Which polaroid digital camera would be be better for me?
My Polaroid i533 was stolen yesterday. It had 5.0 Megapixels. To replace it, there are 6 and 7 megapixels by Polaroid out there. Are they really that much better quality pictures? I do a lot of cropping and editing on pictures and did sometimes get the warning that they did not recommend the print size that I had chosen. Would a 6 or 7 improve that?
Answer:
Well i have a Poloroid too!! But since you do editing you should DEFENETLY get the 7 megapixels. It is a WHOLE lot better for that stuff.
