Question : Is samsung digital camera a good buy? Meaning the quality and durabilty?
I am plannig to buy a digicam, I have seen a samsung one. Is this ok?? All I want is a camera who can give me good pictures and is durable. Thanksgropetti- really? I am planning to get canon but they are a bit expensive. But I will keep it in mind.elvis- thank you for your answer.. waaaaah confused!

groppetti is right, a canon or a nikon. I may cost a bit more for the canon or nikon but the quality makes it worth it. The Canon A1000 is on sale for 159.99. not bad but is it worth it yes.

Question : how long do samsung digital camera batteries last?
i just bought a samsung digital camera today at circuit city, and just after a while its battery power became very low. i tried to change batteries, but the other ones don't work. i keep trying to figure out how the battery became so low when i just bought it today! and sometimes when i was taking pictures to test it out, it would just shut off or turn on itself. does anyone know why?

When you buy a new camera, mobile phone or something like that, you have to charge it for 4-5 hours. Then you must use it.There are different batteries. "AAA" or "AA" and so on. The little one is "AAA". pay attention to it.And try to use rechargebale batteries. Yeah, they are more expensive than others, but it will last nearly 2-3 year. (you have to give it energy day-by-day)And dont forget, if there appears any problem, You may contact to "shop sale or technic manager".

the camera is only 2 weeks old and the make of it is samsung digimax A503 with a 2" lcd screen.

fly to japan, have a great time, take an ordinary camera you are sure of. good luck. I hate didgital cameras, they do not photo correctly. If you look close, you will see. Cannot beat an ordinary point and shoot, mind you, you have to have a mind behind the eye.

I received a Samsung L730 digital camera for my birthday .In less than one month the battery died ( it's defective ) . I know that it was bought at Circuit City . So far I have had no luck on getting help from Circuit City or Samsung customer service .What should I do ? I need help . Thank you all ...I've tried recharging and it doesn't recharge . Also I only used it 2 times in one month .

This may require a receipt.First, read your user manual on how you charge the battery.If it does not work, go to Circuit City with the camera they may tell you how you might get a new battery. Question : Help! My Samsung digital camera won't open its shutter or turn on. I tried to recharge battery but not work!?
I have a Samsung SL202 intelligent LCD digital camera which I love. Few days back I got a low battery message then it shut down. I used my USB cable to recharge the Li-ion battery, but it is not recharging. I have taken the battery out and put it back in, jiggled the chords, etc. What am I missing???? I am quite frustrated. Any help or thoughts greatly appreciated.

Maybe the battery is done for. Batteries don't have eternal life nor can sleep for eaons. No they are chemical little storage cans that will lose their ability to hold energy slowly. After harsh use or a certain time, a few years that is, the rechargable battery is unable to hold charge.So what to do? Buy a new battery, available on your online and local photo stores :)Remember batteries are chemical waste!

Question : How can I take professional looking photos with a basic Samsung digital camera?
My daughter is 6 months old and we have her pictures taken every 3 months...basically i'm tired of paying to have them done so I would love to take and learn how to make my pictures look professional with my digital camera!

1] Get to know what your camera is capable of doing, so experiment a lot.2] If you must use the flash, place a piece of tissue paper over it to diffuse it. Hold it in place by some blu tack.3] Use a plain background. A bedsheet etc will do.4] Put the camera on a tripod and use a remote (if available) release.5] If using natural light, get a reflector to add additional light onto the subject. A cheap one will be one of those sun reflectors you put on your car dashboard.6] Download some free software to assist in editing your pics, like sharpening, cropping, soft focus etc.7] Dont take pics to close to the subject. Stand back a bit and zoom in.Hope this helps.
