Cheap
I knew that when I bought this camera from a big-box store that it couldn't be great, but it was at first. But then one day when I went to use it an error came up regarding the lens. I've come to find out from searching other web sites that this is a very common problem with the camera. It must have been so common that you can't find this camera on Sanyo's website anymore.

Sanyo Vpc s1070 - run
bought this camera from walmart and the LCD crapped out on day 38. Walmart would not take it back, and indeed had no more of them in stock...Sanyo said it was warrentied for 30 days and it would be cheaper to buy another one. Tried contacting a live someone/anyone at Sanyo to no avail. Automatted Q&A only. I knew there was a reason I didnt like Sanyo.

I love it
I'm not the kind of person who wants the thousand dollar camera, so when I received this for xmas last year I used it everyday. Seemed like a normal camera, until a few months later I was messing with the settings and noticed it had a Professional setting right next to Auto. Since then this camera has gone everywhere with me and has not left Professional mode, unless I need to take a video here and there. Either way this camera is amazing on pro-mode even my mom who has a $3,500 Olympus with telescope lenses wants to borrow it because of how crystal clear the photos turn up. Sure it may take some time for the sensor to lock onto what you want but it's worth it for the quality this camera has. I have uploaded some photos in the customer gallery :)

Get it
This is a great camera for its price. I read a review from a semi-pro who recomended this camera before I purchased mine . This is an older model. On this model you can use your own rechargable batteries. One step above this one I would get now because it can be recharged straight from the camera(its like $10 more). I've had my camera for more than a year now and so there is a newer model out.. Great pictures, everyone comments on how great my photograpny is (its easy with this camera) Don't lose any cords because its almost impossible to get the Sanyo replacement cords. Its a really good camera!! My mother has a more expensive camera but we use mine because it takes better pics.

Question : How long does a sanyo digital camera stay charged?
I just got a new digital camera and it doesn't say in the manual how long it stays charged. It's a E1075 Sanyo digital camera. thanks.
Answer:
The batteries will last 8-12 weeks if left turned off, sometimes longer. Under regular casual use the batteries will last long enough to take roughly 3000 pictures, less if you use video or look at the pictures on your camera a lot.

Question : Does anybody know what is wrong with my S750 Sanyo digital camera?
Does anybody know what is wrong with my S750 Sanyo digital camera? It's practically brand new and when I ty connecting it to the computer I get a message that the camera's power output exceeds the limits of the USB hub on the computer. The first couple of times that I used it with the computer, it worked alright, but now I can't connect the camera to the computer. Has anybody heard of this problem before?Any idea what is wrong with the camera?
Answer:
Usually it's a problem with the computer and not the camera. Check your camera on some other computer first. Try to reinstall your operating system (Windows) and then see. If still it doesn't work, get your computer checked, it might be a hardware problem.

Question : my sanyo digital camera won't upload my pictures to my computer. help?
i have a sanyo digital camera. it used to always let me upload them. but it wont anymore. i connect the USB cord into my computer and a pop up comes up and it sayd that i need to scan and fix removable disk i.. i scanned it and it still wont let me upload my pictures. i tried everything. can somebody please help me!
Answer:
Don't bother with cables or special software! The easiest and best method to transfer photos and video from your camera to your computer is via a little USB card reader (which are very cheap these days and widely available).Card readers also work for moving photos from the computer onto a card.Plug the reader into a USB port and insert the memory card.It will show up as a drive, and you can simply drag and drop the photos across to the folder of your choice.http://www.ephotozine.com/article/Card-Readers-explained-140

Question : Why is the screen on my Sanyo digital camera white with a black spot in it?
I just bought this camera 32 days ago. My daughter was using it at school to take pictures. She finished her pictures, took the card out, downloaded the pictures onto the comptuer, put the card back into the camera, and then turned it back on. The screen is now totally white with a black spot in the middle. Sanyo says that is cosmetic damage, so it is not covered. Couldn't the screen just have went out and wouldn't that be an internal problem?
Answer:
Here's a test you should try on the camera screen.*Gently and slowly* rub your finger nail on the screen. Does it chage colors or intensities?Does it look anything like these images?http://images.google.com/images?hl=en&um=1&sa=1&q=broken+lcd+screen+camera&aq=f&oq=&aqi=&star t=0If so, the screen is an unprotected LCD which is very fragile and much more prone to breaking. If it feels hard like a clear sheet of plastic or glass, then it probably didn't break, it is most likely an electronic problem. Many Kodak point and shoot cameras like the C743 were very prone to broken LCD's ( I have 2 that broke). They were so common that ebay vendors made an industry out of selling replacement screens. Do an ebay search for C743 LCD screens. The Sanyo might have the same vulnerability. If it is indeed broken and Sanyo won't fix it under warranty, you'll have to get an estimate for repair and decide whether or not you want to repair it or get another camera (my guess is that it won't be a Sanyo).
