Questions & Answers
Question : Why is the screen on my Sanyo digital camera white with a black spot in it?
I just bought this camera 32 days ago. My daughter was using it at school to take pictures. She finished her pictures, took the card out, downloaded the pictures onto the comptuer, put the card back into the camera, and then turned it back on. The screen is now totally white with a black spot in the middle. Sanyo says that is cosmetic damage, so it is not covered. Couldn't the screen just have went out and wouldn't that be an internal problem?

Answer:
Here's a test you should try on the camera screen.*Gently and slowly* rub your finger nail on the screen. Does it chage colors or intensities?Does it look anything like these images?http://images.google.com/images?hl=en&um=1&sa=1&q=broken+lcd+screen+camera&aq=f&oq=&aqi=&star t=0If so, the screen is an unprotected LCD which is very fragile and much more prone to breaking. If it feels hard like a clear sheet of plastic or glass, then it probably didn't break, it is most likely an electronic problem. Many Kodak point and shoot cameras like the C743 were very prone to broken LCD's ( I have 2 that broke). They were so common that ebay vendors made an industry out of selling replacement screens. Do an ebay search for C743 LCD screens. The Sanyo might have the same vulnerability. If it is indeed broken and Sanyo won't fix it under warranty, you'll have to get an estimate for repair and decide whether or not you want to repair it or get another camera (my guess is that it won't be a Sanyo).

Question : How long does a sanyo digital camera stay charged?
I just got a new digital camera and it doesn't say in the manual how long it stays charged. It's a E1075 Sanyo digital camera. thanks.

Answer:
The batteries will last 8-12 weeks if left turned off, sometimes longer. Under regular casual use the batteries will last long enough to take roughly 3000 pictures, less if you use video or look at the pictures on your camera a lot.

Question : where to get my sanyo digital camera fix,or how to fix it?
i have a light blue sanyo digital camera model:pvc x1250,and the screen has black spots,i want to get it fix but don't know were to take it or wat to do to get it fix.need help.

Answer:
Try Wolf Camera. Or you can check out some of the papers that came with the camera kit. There is usually a book or list on repair shops for it.

Question : Does anybody know what is wrong with my S750 Sanyo digital camera?
Does anybody know what is wrong with my S750 Sanyo digital camera? It's practically brand new and when I ty connecting it to the computer I get a message that the camera's power output exceeds the limits of the USB hub on the computer. The first couple of times that I used it with the computer, it worked alright, but now I can't connect the camera to the computer. Has anybody heard of this problem before?Any idea what is wrong with the camera?

Answer:
Usually it's a problem with the computer and not the camera. Check your camera on some other computer first. Try to reinstall your operating system (Windows) and then see. If still it doesn't work, get your computer checked, it might be a hardware problem.

Question : Could i use my sanyo digital camera as a webcam and how?
i have a cheap digital camera its a sanyo 12.1 megapixels x1200 ...is it posible to use it as a webcam on my laptop and if it is how can i instal it?

Answer:
Can this camera be used as a webcam? The quick answer to this VERY common question is "No". The more detailed answer is this: yes, sometimes it is possible, but it just isn't a good solution! You would need to have the right camera, cable, software and drivers. Then you need to set it all up to work, which can be a big pain.Even if you DO get it working, you are now causing wear and tear on what might be a fairly/very expensive camera.Webcams start at about $20.oo. They do the job well, they are usually easy to set up, and they can STAY set up - you won't want to quickly grab your webcam on the way out the door, only so you have to start setting up all over again next time you want to use it.Check out the websites of Logitech, Creative, and Microsoft. All make good webcams. Check the features carefully if you want to have those fancy video effects, because not every cam supports them.Figure out which models you like, then google for the best price. If you are still determined to use your still camera, then read your manual - if it is possible, it would be a good selling point (even though it makes little sense), so the manual will tell you how to do it.If you did a quick search here on YA, you would find MANY instant answers to this. http://answers.yahoo.com/search/search_result;_ylt=AmaFlWzXh9x2Nk8d3RJ4v0C0xQt.;_ylv=3?p=camera+as+w eb+cam

Question : How to get high resolution on sanyo digital movie camera?
I have a Sanyo Xacti Digital Movie Camera, and my friend was playing around with it, and now the quality of the videos is literally crap. it looks like someone shot the video with their camera. When i press the movie setting, there are 5 settings for right now i have it on TV-HR 640x480 60fps HR. I have no idea what to click on, and i was just wondering if someone could help!!!Thanks!

Answer:
All you need to do is:1) Select menu (And go to the top of the recording menu)2) Find the box that says "Video"3) Switch it to "HD-SHQ 1280x720 30fps SHQ"This will change the resolution to 720p HD, only if you have the Sanyo Xacti VPC-CG10. If you have the CG20 (I think), find the highest number like 1280x720, only it will be 1920x1080. Then, you should have the HD image you are looking for. I hope i helped!

Question : I have a Sanyo digital camera, and it just started shutting off, once I pushed the on button.?
I put new batteries in, and it still shuts off, once I push the on button. Do I need to buy another camera?

Answer:
I think you need to buy a new digital camera because my camera does the same thing and im going to get a new one

Question : How can you upload pictures to your computer using a Sanyo DIgital Camera?
there r 2 #s on the bottom of the camera and on the boxVPC-X1200V4011655

Answer:
Use the USB Transfer cable that came with your camera. After you connect the cord to the camera & computer Windows will automatically detect just follow the instructions and save them where you would like to access them. You must have the power on the camera for the computer to detect new hardware. Also read your manual and use the CD if you got one.If you do not have a cord refer to you manual. Does it use a memory card? You can get a card reader from any electronics store and accomplish this as well. This is really easy after the first time.

Question : How would I fix a VPC-E1075 Sanyo digital camera if it is past warranty?
I'm not much of a digital/technological person, so I don't actually know the different names and components of a digital camera. I dropped the camera once and it won't work anymore. It won't turn on, even though I have charged the battery to make sure that that wasn't the issue here. Is it broken beyond repair? And if so, is there any way that these can be recycled?

Answer:
The only recycling place for this that I know of is eBay. Sell it low and declare it is damaged. Don't hide anything. Who knows? Someone may be on the lookout for tiny lenses. It would be best to buy a new one and this time, get a new trendy strap together with it.

I have sanyo VPC-S1070 and i lost the usb for it where can i buy another one at?
